LAKE CITY, Minn. (KTTC) -- The family of the Lake City police officer who was shot while responding to a domestic call is asking community members to leave their porch lights on for the next three days, as a sign of support.
32-year old officer Shawn Schneider remains in critical condition. Police say there were two people inside the house prior to the arrival of the officers. A woman escaped before the officer was shot and she was not harmed, thanks to officer Schneider.

Sounds like a good officer. Sigh. Prayers for him and his family.
A friend of mine who is a probation officer was shot while doing a home visit. For some reason he wore his vest on that day when he almost never wore it before.
The kid shot through the door with a 12 gauge as my friend knocked.
