We didn’t realize just how stupid he was until this incident. Did I mention we were in HS at the time? How smart were you as a teenager?
“Did I mention we were in high school at the time?
How smart were you as a teenager?”
I figured you were in high school at the time.
As a teenager I was smart enough not to get in a
car with a suspected idiot at the wheel but just
barely smart enough, at that....;) ;) ;)
Calling me an idiot does nothing for your credibility and tells me that, should I ever meet you face to face, that a good a** whipping would be in order for you. You are a frickin' jerk and missed the entire point of the original comment.
Your only objective in responding to my comment was to make yourself look like some super intelligent being who would never be caught in a bad situation. Well f*** you and the horse you rode in on.
Scene of the Accident.
So these fellers did a Brokeback Mountain version of Thelma & Louise off the cliff?
HA!
FTA: "It was a "dark, moonless night," said Carbonaro's father, Robert Carbonaro,..."
Probably just drunk.
The two young men left a Randsburg, California, hotel about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, telling their girlfriends where they were headed and saying they’d be back within a few hours.
Should have read to the end
***** “ The night swallows up headlights out there. Great for astronomy, but not for night riding. “ ******
Yeah ... not only that but driving in a straight line forever also puts you to sleep (or hypnotizes you) .... back in the 70’s I must have hit a hundred reflectors while driving 80mph before some guy honking his horn and yelling at me woke me up ...
(only damage to my car was the License Plate ... it was toast)

“high-beam schmigh-beam”
A college friend doing about 90 on a bike at night came up on a car stalled in the road that was being pushed to turn it around and was sideways in the street. Had it been day he’d have seen it well before he ran up on it.
Hit it broadside, end of his story.
