His numbers are incredibly high right now......but wait until depressing January through March. People are generally happy from November through beginning January so I am not particularly surprised that his numbers are up. If his numbers stay up through Winter, then I will worry (a little) that we might be in trouble but right now it is people’s happy Christmas and New Year time that is giving him those numbers and not anything he did at all.
If there was any calculation in the Pubbies’ actions - it was liberating Obama to take his $4million vacation.
If BO’s return to the WH coincides with the taxpayers’ January credit card bills - that might be the day of reckoning!!!!

Come this fall you will see the Democrats blame the Republicans for the huge Social Security Deficit by saying the Republicans voted for it. They want to blame the Republicans for what the Democrats have done.
You see, the dirty little Secret is that the Democrats Damaged Social Security and made is Unsustainable far sooner than it was supposed to. Notice that the Democrats can do this without hardly a whisper in the Mainstream Press. But let the Republicans even talk about changing Social Security and they shrilly shout they are 'Taking it Away from Grandpa' is heard across the nation.
No, the Republicans by delaying have quietly brought out the issue, so that when (not if) the Democrats try to blame them, the Republicans will say 'Do you remember back in December?'
Oh, and expect the racism charge to be full bore against Republicans for even opposing Obama.

Thus they are become the Party of Walter Mondale. In essence the Republican can say the Democrats Will raise their taxes. The real question is 'How Low will the Democrats Go'?
