2012: The Year of Cold Fusion?
If this topic is new to you, the really short summary is that the E-Cat is a Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) or cold fusion device that generates large amounts of heat for a miniscule cost.
I first wrote about the E-Cat and its implications in my Backspin column in Network World back in October and then again a couple of weeks later here in my Forbes Technobable blog. Since then I have covered various aspects of the topic ... heres the list:
------------------------
Why so many postings on this topic? Simple
as I pointed out at some length in the first columns, should Rossis E-Cat work as claimed, it will transform the world making oil, coal, and conventional nuclear power along with wind and solar power obsolete as energy sources.
Alas,... the question of whether the E-Cat really works remains unproven because over the last year the E-Cats inventor, Andrea Rossi, has given a number of impressive but inconclusive demonstrations. These were inconclusive because they werent run in such a way as to remove doubt about whats really going on and whether more energy was being generated by the E-Cat than was being put into it.
.
If the whole thing is a fraud its going to be one of the greatest in modern times. If its not, 2012 is going to be the year when everything changes.

I think it's a scam to soak governments for the care and upkeep of physicists who have nothing to do.
Did I say "I think it's a scam" ~ it really is a scam ~ costs billions a year for NOTHING.
Kleiner Perkins invests, and advises others regarding investments in similar ventures.
Is there some reason you would think Kleiner Perkins wouldn't be involved with Rossi in some way?
Did you check with The Algore on this?
the suns corona is only there because of the heat and pressure of the dense core...
You can ignore the various LENR references to their work if you want. This particular theory is in the background of NASA's interest in LENR ~
