Remember Gray Davis, the Democrat ex-governor of California who preceded Ahhhnold?
Davis spent milllions of dollars on ads trying to get his poll numbers up, and it didn't work. His poll numbers wouldn't go above around 39% even after millions of dollars were spent. Not a percent increase even. Not one perecent...
Enter Mitt Romney.
In 2008, he pulled in 25.2% of the vote in the Iowa Caucus. Millions spent since then, and in the 2012 Iowa Caucus, according to Fox News, 99% reporting, he is at....wait for it... 25%. CNN has 100% reporting, and has Romney at 24.5%.
So the New York Times 2008 Iowa Caucus results had Romney at 25.2%, and in 2012, CNN has Romney at 24.5%.
Romney's number are consistent... consistently stagnant.
Mitt Romney=Gray Davis
Mitt Romney, thy name is Gray Davis. Lol.
So you are saying Romney is going to win? (Someone should check California history: Davis was elected and reelected governor. Then he was recalled)
Gray Davis couldn’t get his poll numbers to go up, and was ultimately replaced by Ahhnold.
The point is, is that when you get to the point Romney is at, or Davis was at, it is getting close to the end of your political career.
Btw, Romney had his chance in 2008. We can see, numbers-wise, that he is now actually going backwards. 2012 is showing to be worse than 2008 for Romney.
His numbers are consistent...consistently stagnant, that is. Lol.
Well rumor has it he's about to get endorsed by John McCain. I'm sure that will work wonders for him /s
“His numbers are consistent...consistently stagnant, that is. Lol.”
Yes but everyone else’s numbers are inconsistent. Remember that $$$ matters a lot more once we’re past Iowa and NH and Romney has a huge advantage there.
Ron Paul had 10% in the 2008 Iowa Caucus. Romney had 25.2%.
Ron Paul surged to 21% in the 2012 Iowa Caucus, while Romneys went backwards to 24.6%.
And Gingrich’s goal is now to annihilate Romney, and Romney alone, as Romney’s attack ads, apparently to Newt, cost Newt the Iowa Caucus win, as Newt was at around 30% in Iowa three weeks ago.
It is now Rick Santorum vs Ron Paul and Romney vs Newt, Paul and Santorum.
