Well, in my view, the establishment are the status quo people. Bush was from Texas but he was establishment. He didn’t want to rock the boat. Gingich has been in Washington a long time but he does like to rock the boat. He has changed things.

McConnell, Boehner, McCain, Romney, Obama. They won’t change anything. Raise the debt ceiling, well of course that has to happen, increase every agency every year, why of course that has to happen, etc.

Gingrich is the opposite and has demonstrated that he wants to make big changes, not just nibble around the edges as the cookie grows bigger.

Santorum! He is an unabashed conservative.

I’m tired of these proclamations that he is unelectable or would lose to Obama. Nobody would lose to Obama as long as the GOP candidate hammers Obama on the economy. Santorums speech last night was not just from the heart but it was devastatingly on message, from his specific tax proposals to his support of blue collar jobs.

Santorum would be a far conservative president and yes Virginia, he can beat Obama. Nobody will care about his conservative social issues becasue this election will be about nothing bug financial issues. Santorum has a strong message on the economy. He can win.

I didn’t say that congressmen get elected. I said a congressman is preferable to a senator.

Senators are elitists and aristocrats who are always hungry for executive power.

A perfect description of Congresswoman Pelosi. Never a more power hungry, elitist b!tc#.

But he sure talks a good game. Seriously. He is a great debater, snappy, witty and attacks well. If only conservatives could trust him to govern from the right, he would be worth supporting. He has been in and around the game so long, I don’ think he is a principalled anything anymore, just establishment politician.

Neither could Santorum. In fact I don't think he even tried. Santorum gives the appearance of really running for VP.
