In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Distopia
Noun
1. An imaginary place or state in which the condition of life is extremely bad, as from deprivation, oppression, or terror.
2. A work describing such a place or state: "dystopias such as Brave New World" (Times Literary Supplement).

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

A diagnosis of dystopia does not necessarily imply the need for corrective lenses. However, the two are not mutually exclusive.

My eyes feel better without glasses. It just takes awhile in the morning to get them working right. Thank God for computers and reading devices that allow for increased font size. As the day goes on, this is enough. For everything else, I still have my glasses. Switching back and forth though? Makes it worse. Stinks getting old.
