Somehow the word "dystopia" (I believe it is usually spelled with a "y") makes me think of the future promised by the slogans HOPE and CHANGE:

Considering where we are heading, I am not certain distopia will remain an imaginary place.

Hard to believe we’ve come to a place in our history where huge numbers of our fellow citizens actually believe a candidate who espouses free markets, limited government involvement in our lives, the right to life and the right to work will lead to distopia should he or she become President.

"Showing results for Dystopia. Search instead for Distopia"

I wrote the book on it.

Remember? I intended it to be unforgettable.

I was wondering about that. No biggie. We all go a little Dan Quayle once in a while.

Just kidding! I know Quayle was actually given a card with the word "potato" misspelled on it. He knew it was spelled wrong but he was trying to spare the teacher embarrassment and sometimes, for some weird reason, words just don't look like they're spelled correctly. Or wrongly for that matter.

Yeah, I hear ya. I am long overdue for new glasses, so in the mornings they do not work with the old glasses and do not function on their own quite yet. Life is a bit blurry till I adjust. I glossed right over the misspelling, repeating it. RME Perhaps I should retire and collect my pension? I hear the pensions are quite good for real teachers, my virtual pension won’t get me far though.
