Romney apparently lost in Iowa, worst showing ever there, and poll #'s sinking in NH

Several news reports have it that Romney did not win the Iowa Caucuses. Mr. True supposedly has a photo showing 2 votes for Romney, not 22, on a piece of paper. Barring any objective, verifiable proof that shows more than 12 votes mistakenly being credited to Santorum, Romney lost.

On the flip side, if Romney did win, the Weekly Standard, in a news piece entitled "Answers from Iowa," says that Romney's 24.6% in the Iowa Caucuses was the worst ever (for either party) for a candidate winning the Iowa Caucuses. Romney spent millions in Iowa, had the worst percentage ever, and actually dropped from his 25.2% in 2008.

And to top it all off, a recent poll has Romney with 40% support in NH, down from the 50%+ that he once enjoyed there.

Huckabee: Santorum Could Go All The Way

Thursday, January 5, 2012 04:59 PM

By: Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella

Former presidential candidate and Fox News host Mike Huckabee tells Newsmax that Rick Santorum can make it all the way to the Republican presidential nomination — and says Rick Perry made an “incredibly bad blunder” in announcing that he was reassessing his campaign after the Iowa caucus.

Huckabee also warns Republicans that President Obama will launch a “vicious campaign” in his battle for re-election, but “the best weapon we have against Obama is Obama.”

...Romney spent millions...

If what I read is correct, Santorum spent only about $22,000, but put in a lot of face time with the public.

Good news indeed! Romney the liberal democrat should not represent conservative values as all rino Presidents are used and abused by the communist left and conservative values are ignored and repressed.
Conservatives must vote for conservatives and Romney and Paul are liberals indeed.

Willard Romney certainly embodies the values of a RINO.

Deception. Liberalism. Cheating. Fascism.

Communism. Altering records. Altering votes.

Better 1000 $1 dollar donors/voters than 1 $1000 dollar donor/voter.

...jail time needs to start happening for idiotic “last minute”, “uh oh” moments in vote counting! Boxes of uncounted votes, trunks of cars carrying “forgotten” votes needs to stop.

I agree with Santorum that a few votes here and there don't matter, and the caucus ended in a virtual tie. The most important thing is that Romney has shown himself to be beatable, and Santorum’s campaign has caught fire. Rick's polling numbers for the next two primaries are encouraging. He has a good opportunity to rise even higher through the debates this weekend. IMO, we're going to see history being made over the course of the next few weeks.

Limbaugh is right: we should let the process play out. We'll know who to coalesce around pretty soon.

Romney might run the table. He's in first place with the new Rasmussen SC poll.

Newt's third. The flavor of the week is 2nd.

Mitt Flopney is losing steam.

While Newt, Paul, Huntsman, and Santorum are taking shots at each other, the overwhelming majority of their political firepower is and will be directed at Flopney.

Tea Partiers in SC are uniting to stop Flopney.

Rush is after Flopney.

After or before Florida, Flopney’s campaign will be but a shell of what it is now, which isn’t much now.

Santorum did it the old fashioned way....one vote at a time....

..traveling from town to town....from hamlet to burg....even if only one person showed up.

And it paid off!
