If these "ARE" the TRUMPETS??? They should be welcomed when you know your heart is true to love!!!
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
Surely someone knows what these sounds are that people are hearing and recording? I find the sound in Alberta, Canada very disturbing. It's at 4:51 seconds.
Ok, that’s freaky!
Cicadas?
It sounds like God’s trumpets are out of tune.
Man, I let out one real loud fart, and all of a sudden people start freakin out about the apocalypse.
I’m pretty sure that’s the sound of a Chinese sub-launched missile.
Seriously, though - a YouTube video? Anyone can use a computer to make a spooky sound, then mix it into a video clip and claim it was recorded in the wild.
LOL... Sorry just trying to figure this thing out.
Someone said it’s the Poles shifting?
You not to long ago I experienced my first Earthquake while awake driving on the road. I had the radio on pretty loud nonetheless. At any rate I head a loud sound. It was so loud it went over my radio. The road became real bumpy too. Not realizing it was an Earthquake (because we normally do not have them where I’m at) I was thinking what the hell is that noise, and dam they need to pave this road It’s bumpy as $hit!
When I got home about 3 minutes later. Something told me to check Drudge and I did and there was an Earthquake in Virginia felt as far south as Atlanta. That was in August of 2011.
So going back to the Pole shift theory... Seems possible, but I don’t know?
Well, that’s pretty weird.
There are no so many waves filling the earth’s atmosphere (TV, AMFM radio, walkie talkies, ipods, ipads, Blackberries, cell phones, etc., etc., etc.), that maybe they are finally combining with all the natural waves that pound earth from the sun to produce their own sounds.
True but a lot of people world wide are reporting it and recording it.
I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for it.
“Someone said its the Poles shifting?”
How did they all shift at the same time? Was the noise definitely coming from Poland?
Not enough information.
It’s atmospheric resonance caused by the attempts of Ron Paul’s supporters to cleanse the air with aerosol spray cleaner.
Either that or (Praise Jesus!) one really, really big shofar.
LMAO!
“It sounds like Gods trumpets are out of tune.”
I be pretty sure that they be flat
Yeah, all those Trabants in Warsaw are pretty noisy.
I tried to forget that noise from World Cup. Worst instrument ever...
Mostly I dismiss stuff like this but there has been so much talk about these sounds I watched the video.
I am STUNNED and even shaking a bit!
THAT SOUND...EXACTLY! I heard it between 1:45AM and 2AM this morning!
I am at work at a group of radio station in Pittsburgh. No one else is in the building. When I heard the sound my first thought was that someone had stopped in and might be moving a piece of furniture. It was so noticeable I left my studio to see who was here. There was no one to be found.
Next I thought it might be thunder but it didn't sound like thunder, it was the same sound as in some of the ones in the video.
It did not last long, maybe 2-4 seconds and there weren't harmonic overtones.
Next I thought it might be a garbage truck or some other vehicle in our industrial park. Since I'm on the 3d floor with a great view I can see just about everything here but there was nothing. Everything is quiet as usual.
The only other possibility is that it was something on a web cast I had on a computer in the background while I work. Revision 3's Tekzilla was running a wrap up from CES. When I get home I'll watch it again and see if the sound is on there. I highly doubt it though. Not only did I hear the sound I FELT it as well so the chance of it coming from the speakers is pretty slim. The volume was WAY down.
In a couple of hours I'll be speaking with one of the local weather forecasters and I'll ask him if there was the possibility of thunder overnight. The problem is it didn't really sound like thunder.
One thing is sure. I have all the lights on now and they will stay on for the rest of the night.
Oh...I think I heard it again just now! Not as loud...two or three short low frequency bursts. I checked the other studios to see if anything on the air there could cause it and no way. None of the music playing had that sort of sound.
I'm also going to check t he HVAC. Sometimes it can act up and make unusual sounds but they never sound like this did.
It's going to be a long night!
That’s friggin’ hilarious!
To all my buddies - if you haven’t seen it -

Was listening to this just now on Coast to Coast AM. Guest Whitley Strieber ( yes I know ) said that they’re still not sure what it is but he’s seeing something he calls the You Tube phenomena,. People are copying the sound from the original videos and dubbing it onto their own and saying the noise happened at their locale.
A) No “WTF” comments from ANY of the “videographers” hearing it.
B) (Except for the Canadian forest workers) ALL of the stray people caught in-frame exhibit not the slightest indication that ANYTHING strange is occurring.
C) Even in the clips with very loud & persistent noise, NOBODY comes outside or looks out a window.
D) No way to find out if all of the purported locations are really where claimed; or all with in say a 5 mile radius.
E) No independent reports from other sources; in a weeks time, such a thing would be all over the blogosphere.
CONCLUSION: I could use about 1,500 pounds of it for my garden.
Most likely some guerilla marketing for a crappy alien invasion movie.
VERY interesting and please keep me posted.
Sorry I did not mean to freak you out. Just trying to figure this thing out that’s all.
Sounds like the harp project people doing a lot of directed elf. They do it to control the weather, supposedly. Then again, the Russians have their own version of harp so it could be their directed elf against us. Either way who cares.
Okay and thanks for that update!
Thanks for the laugh!

Per the YouTube video link, why is everyone all poised and in place and ready out there with their video cameras to record a “noise”? I mean, did they all hear something first, and then go grab their cameras? Seriously, nobody just sits outside with a video camera pointed at the sky, waiting for a noise, unless it is engineered to happen or is anticipated. There is no context from the tape from what I can tell, nor affadavits that I can tell, local police reports and the like. I could be wrong, but this world is full of weird noises and it has been that way for hundreds of thousands of years. Our universe is one continuous wave of perceptible noises, including those from astrophysical bodies, and the like.
I think you’re right.Even the Canadian forest workers could have been reacting to all the bird noise and then the sound is added later.
Same noise same time in Kansas City. Just didnt record it. Could be associated with electromagnetics due to pole shift.

(Or Cthulhu, which ever is closest.)
Now I'm having a Wendigo moment, LOL!
If you don't know you'll have to look it up but basically it's when you become paranoid over something and it overwhelms you. You feel like someone is right behind you, turn around and no one is there but the feeling won't go away.
I've been in this building, in Greentree a couple of miles outside Pittsburgh, for over ten years. It's in a surprisingly wooded and secluded area for being so close to the city, From my studio I can see into Pittsburgh's West End, across the Ohio river, across the north side and into the North Hills. I have seen some pretty strange things here over the years but this takes the cake!
The wind is blowing a bit but not enough to make that kind of sound. I've heard the wind sounds here and this was not the same.
Being paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
I was watching some newscast about a local naval observatory working with marine biologists tracking whales. For the “color” aspect of what they do (listening for submarines using sound monitors throughout the oceans) - they played recordings of whales, etc.
The biologist played the various sounds and would say “that is a Blue Whale near the surface in the South Pacific,...that is a humpback off the coast of Japan, etc.
The last sound was REALLY weird - sounded partly organic like the whales, but also had an almost electric synthesised, high frequency tone mixed in. The biologist let in run and said it was in the Indian Ocean, at a depth of 15,000 ft (some really great depth anyway),.....”and we have NO IDEA what the heck it is!”
I have searched youtube for it (it is several years old now I imagine) to see if it ever made it onto the internet, but no luck.
It gives me chills just thinking about it again. On one hand it is cool that it is probably just some creature that hasn’t been discovered yet. But that synthetic tone gives me the chills that it might be something else.
Lewis and Clark heard unexplainable noises, too, during their expedition - it sounded like cannon fire coming from the west. Sometimes it would be one “shot,” sometimes five or six in a row.
Remember the sonic booms off the east coast in the 70’s (80’s?)? I believe those are also historic.

“If you don’t know you’ll have to look it up but basically it’s when you become paranoid over something and it overwhelms you.”
I’m getting chills up my spine remembering late nights listening to Art Bell discussing “Shadow People”. Of course once the suggestion was put into my head.....
Hey! Don’t make fun.
The krill have to have their monsters too.
That said some of the sounds on the tape are exactly what I heard. It's been twice now. The second wasn't as loud as the first.
So what I've done is to keep a mike keyed in one of my production studios. If the sound happens again I'll trip the Orban recorder as well as Cool Edit and a Reel to Reel tape. (If I can' find one, LOL! Haven't used them for YEARS!)
With my luck it won't happen again.
One other remote possibility is that there is a train tunnel quite deep under our building. It isn't used very often anymore and I am used to that sound as well. It really isn't a sound, more of a gently shaking. Plus I would have seen a train.
The Salvation Army is next door but there's no one there tonight. Across the street is a computer data storage/commercial IP provider but it doesn't look like there are a lot of people there tonight and they keep the door locked. I can't leave my studios long enough to go ask them if they heard anything. They'd probably think I was imagining things anyway...sigh.
“Shadow People”: Pheff!
It’s the Deros and Teros you gotta watch out for; Long John Neble(sp?) explained it all way back in the 50s & 60s.
You couldn’t pay me to ride a Chicago elevator!
Hope it isn’t the sound of a very deep sinkhole forming. ;^(
You sure Jim Krenn isn’t haunting the building? lol
BTW I forgot to add that when I heard the sound I sure reacted, LOL! Jumped from my chair and into the hall. It doesn’t seem strange that in those videos people don’t seem to react the way one would think they would.
Good hunting! If you manage t get a recording, is there any way you can post it here? If so, PLEASE ping!
I spend a lot of going-to-sleep time listening to music—instrumental & non-vocal human—that I can NOT possibly record.
It isn’t exactly in my head, but (especially in the dark) when it is “quiet”, fridge/freezer motors, heaters, fans, etc cause faint vibrations/echoes to create harmonic echoes that my brain interprets as harmonies. I can move my head to vary the volume, pitch, etc, as the minute sounds change with the angles to the room’s corners. Ear plugs kill the effect, so there is a real physical component.
The framing & hollow sheetrock interior walls may act as an amplifier of sorts.
