That was the bombshell!!! The interview was even cut short. Marianne was even under investigation by FBI. She was used by the liberal media.
She was used by the liberal media and from what I have been hearing(Since the interview wont be on here on the West coast for a few hours, dont plan on watching it anyway) the entire thing was an epic fail on the media’s part..just a bitter ex wife who hasn’t gotten over it
Spot on assessment. Not much of a bombshell. More of a nothing-burger. There was even a fair amount of positives in it for Newt. They showed Newt’s denial in the debate tonight and showed his daughter denying the allegations.
The media and spin all day (and perhaps) tomorrow was probably more of an impact. If people tuned in to have their socks knocked off, they were probably disappointed.
This was clearly a transparent and weak attempt by the media to take out a candidate.
I can’t wait for Rush’s show tomorrow. Friday. Maybe 0bama will be a seminar caller, lol.

Okay so you watched, but I would think you went into it somewhat predisposed. Try to put yourself in the place of someone who is just a middle of the road type and doesn’t really know that much of Newt. Do you think you would feel different? Just asking???
This evening at our home, we literally gave Newt a standing o and applause. It was such a release to actually see and hear them taken down, bt what was so explosive was the audiences reaction, confirming how fed up we are with liberal media bs. That was Newt leading and speaking for conservatives at that very moment.

Drudge is in the tank for Romney..anything that can be used to Romney’s advantage he uses, but this time he failed MISERABLY
I was searching for something tonight and came across an old post of mine from 2007, where I was complaining about Drudge, ignoring all bad news about Romney.
Again, I agree with Rush (actually I posted it here first) that Drudge once again got the jump on the MSM and forced ABCs hand.
The only “ethical debate” they had was over timing, even Brian admitted that. What he didn’t say, but I suspect, is that they debated not over whether to run it tonight or not, but whether to run it before the SC primary or wait until later, whichever would do more damage to Newt.
The last thing ABC wanted was for it to dribble out piecemeal like it did.

I dropped my TV. Just got tired of all the crap denigrating conservatism beliefs. I can only take so much pro homo crap, BS reporting,sexual content, and now swearing from the TV. ABC is the worst from when I did watch.
I heard Ari on CNN tonight say when asked if this story will endure, he thought not beyond those who are predisposed to believe that sort of thing, but that it will become a much quieter story, and yes there are always some whose vote will be affected, but then he went right in to discuss Newt’s surge.
