As a matter of fact, I’m on record here at FR stating that Gingrich is my preferred candidate of those remaining. (In JimRob’s poll, I specified that I ranked my choices as Gingrich, Perry, and Santorum in that order).

I’m just cautioning against reading too much into Palin’s statements. She hasn’t gone “all in” yet, and it’s disingenuous to pretend that she has. At the same time, I could come up with quite a few potential reasons for her to be holding back, but I don’t have enough information to hazard a solid guess on which I think is right.

I do, however, have a problem with headline trolling, which is a major problem with the media (old and new) where the headline gives the impression of something that is not supported by the article.

You sound too cynical to care much about anything, including whether Newt’s immersion into faith, and joining the Catholic church indicates anything, or is at least worthy of some consideration by people who care about the sanctity of marriage.

I agree they all have faults. I am for R. Santorum and have been disappointed in several of his acts, including some absurd statements he has recently made. None of the candidates are not nearly as crazy as Obama, and everyone of them would be preferable to Obama, including the sleazy Newt G.

He is getting terrible advice.

Well, Romney's main surrogate seems to be John Sununu, who advised Bush, Sr. to raise taxes and to appoint David Souter to the Supreme Court. So you're probably right.

Once again. Palin is explicit in her defense of Newt; not only against King and ABC but her comment on Marianne as a disgruntled ex wife. Disgruntled means, “sulky, moody, discontented. It is not flattering to Marianne in any way, shape or form.
