Wondering what cliche President Obama will use first in his State of the Union speech on Tuesday? So are the oddsmakers.
Paddy Power, Ireland's biggest bookmaking operation, is giving 8-1 odds that "We have more work to do" will be the first cliche the president is likely to drop. Next-most likely are "As I stand here today," and "health care reform" though given the usual structure of State of the Union speeches, that latter one will likely be saved for the last half of the speech.

"Let me be clear" and "millionaires and billionaires" are the two I've got my money on.
Also, how many times will he assume his Mussolini pose.

Count the I’s, fairs, middle class, inherited, worst economy since the great depression, wall street fat cats. It is always the same and they should hang a strawman beside the flags by the podium.
This will be a BYOB event.

despite the Republicans efforts to obstruct our progress at every turn, Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...

Well I am not sovereign enough to know what is fair that should only be left to Obama and the government in my view right? I could even almost agree to a fairness tax if the richest guy on my block would send the check to me rather than use the government to poorly redistribute it. /sarc

Aside from the a-a-a's, and ridicule of others, and blaming Republicans, and telling us that he is "working hard and wakes up every day concerned about jobs," he will fill his speech with: "gonna," "gotta." As in..."I said it was gonna be hard," and "we gotta do better." Meaning, of course, I (Zero) couldn't lead or deliver what I promised, and it's your (All Americans)fault.
I hate how he talks like an ignorant street urchin. Those who were bedazzled by his speaking skills must be the type who think "See Dick and Jane run," and "See Spot play," were exciting stories.
