Quinn is a former professor at LDS Church-owned Brigham Young University who was excommunicated in 1993 for apostasy based on his historical writings. Instead of trying to deny Joseph Smiths penchant for occultic activities, Quinnwho says he remains a DNA Mormonconcluded that Smiths background truly did involve divining rods, seer stones, a hat to shield his eyes in order to see hidden treasures, amulets, incantations, and rituals to summon spirits.
Smith was a magician first class, Quinn believes, but he holds that Mormonisms founder was also a man of God who used his magical tools to communicate with the Almighty God of this universe. http://www.mrm.org/early-mormonism-and-magic-world-view

You know, some secret ritual summoning powerful spirits or gods to pull the wool over the eyes of normally smart, thoughtful conservative leaders, driving them to embrace Mitt infatuation?
What else could explain the madness of rejecting Newt in favor of such a colossal dweeb?
A former Mormon professor researched the founders of Mormonism and showed that occult practices, such as casting spells, was an accepted practice.
Makes you wonder.
My tin foil hat must be working.
Joe Smith was an early 19th century penny ante con artist flim-flam man of the same ilk as Mohammad and L. Ron Hubbard.
Where are those golden tablets Joe?
Got you a lot of pussy and power huh?
“Milk before Meat” ping
We all know that LDS must be right(true) and the proof is that so many oppose it :)
Magic tools to communicate with God? Wow.
As you know, he was (and they are) communicating with someone/something...but it ain’t God. We have been warned about such stuff over and over again.
I’ve read this book and a few of his other works. He’s good and the fact that they excommunicated him for speaking the truth says volumes about them.
Help from their ‘spirit brother’ Lucifer shouldn’t be discounted.
In their Temple they wear a green apron that symbolizes Lucifer’s priesthood.
[Lucifer returns as Adam is eating the fruit.]
LUCIFER: That is right.
EVE: [To Adam.] It is better for us to pass through sorrow that we may know the good from the evil. [To Lucifer.] I know thee now. Thou art Lucifer, he who was cast out of Father’s presence for rebellion.
LUCIFER: Yes. You are beginning to see already.
ADAM: What is that apron you have on?
LUCIFER: It is an emblem of my power and priesthoods.
LUCIFER: Yes, priesthoods.
ADAM: I am looking for Father to come down to give us further instructions.
LUCIFER: Oh, you are looking for Father to come down, are you?
[Elohim and Jehovah are heard speaking outside the Garden Room.]
ELOHIM: Jehovah, we promised Adam that we would visit him and give him further instructions. Come, let us go down.
JEHOVAH: We will go down, Elohim.
ADAM: I hear their voices; they are coming.
LUCIFER: See—you are naked. Take some fig leaves and make you aprons. Father will see your nakedness. Quick! Hide!
[Lucifer withdraws from view.]
ADAM: Brethren and sisters, put on your aprons.
Lucifer leads the way and they follow.
Next time someone posts “I don’t care about his religious beliefs, blah blah”, please post THIS!
Over and over.
Mormon is a secret society. As in Freemasonry, more is imparaated to a member as he/she climbs the ladder. Most of them do not know that their God is Lucifer, as in Freemasonry. But Mitt is at the top of the ladder so Mitt knows......what evil lurks in the hearats of men....and accepts Lucifer!
As a child I think I saw a cartoon version of Smith's using his magical tools like his 'vision hat' to communicate with the Mormon's Almighty God of this universe.. Oh yes, I found it:
"Rocky, Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. One , Two Presto..."
This would definitely be even more fun if your Mormon friend Sandy was still here to taunt :)

I know. I miss Sandy. The few LDS freepers left rarely come out to play with us.
Feel free to copy and distribute. There was a time when posting part of the LDS temple ceremony could get you banned, thanks to Mitt, that no longer happens.
Hey, wasnt the Bullwinkle cartoon picture a great match or what? The magic tricks, the ‘magic vision hat’, now come on :)
“Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull Scripture outta my hat!”
Rocky to Bullwinkle: That trick NEVER works!
“Now here is something we hope you REALLY like!”
I remember the night I pinged you to Sandy's the 'Brave Mormon women' victim sympathy thread that before you came around she pinged me twice with two snarky remarks because I pinged you. By doing that she made my next few days activity on that thread with you and a few other LDS ‘opponents’ much more fun(has happened with other cult threads before.)_.
When I see(read) Mormon's like her that are so ‘pro-Romney candidacy’. I can only conclude that they want a LDSer in the WH to simply generate LDS legitimacy/acceptance, like the purpose of open gays in the military.
