Outstanding. I took a bad fall on the ice yesterday afternoon and can barely move around this AM. Your pics have given a lift to a new day. Perhaps I should be thinking about livving elsewhere — no snow; no ice. LOL.

Beautiful! One of the best parts of living on the Mississippi gulf coast is the access to the wildlife and many of your pix would sell around here.

I get the impression this is a hobby for you?

I see exceptional skill and talent. ...far better than I've seen from so-called professionals.

I enjoy viewing your backyard pics. ..very cool.

Thank you!

We do love the great blue herons, even though they like to stalk DH’s pickle bucket when he is out casting for mullet, lol.

And the picture of the one spearing is an amazing catch in itself, VeryBigGrin.

Normally, I close with a wish for God to bless , but it is clear He has :) so I will pray instead, that those blessings continue!

Look carefully, the bird with it’s head submerged is a Tricolor Heron. They are always around but not seen as much as the Great Blue Heron.

AH! I forgot to mention the great shot and attitude of the cardinal fella! I am always amazed at the expressions and differences in manner, shakes head.

And the rooster - the close up is incredible, what a handsome bird, but OhMyGoodness - those spurs make me want to jump : o

Thanks again, FRiend and blessings.

Thank you! I had no idea, and couldn’t get an idea of his size either.

But the REALLY important question is - do they like to go “fishing” in old pickle buckets, like their bigger cousins - ala “Yogi bear” and the pic-a-nic baskets ; }

Thanks again and take care :)

They see no reason why your bucket fish are any different than other fish.

Au contraire! I think they find the mullet in those buckets to be quite the delicacy, and so handy too! ; }

Blessings.
