MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. - Madison Heights police are looking for a man who robbed a restaurant Monday morning.
Just kidding. Tense down here tonite...need some silliness.
Two blacks came into the restaurant without any masks to hide their identities, one held a gun to the manager's head and demanded money from the safe. Another employee opened the safe and the accomplice removed approx. $10,000 in cash. The gun holder, while laughing, said, "damn, $10,000....." they then left, fortunately not injuring anyone.
There was no video camera since the restaurant had never been robbed before......(duh!) The manager, however, was staring into the face of the guy who held the gun to her head then she turned away, trying to imply that she did not see him.
During my discussion with my friend, she informed me that on Martin Luther day, her young daughter's best friend, who lived on the next block from her in St. Clairs Shores, experienced an attempted home invasion by two hispanics who backed their vehicle into her driveway and then tried to break down the front door. Fortunately the house alarm and the screams of the kids and mother chased the invaders away.
I then tried to explain the need for her to obtain a home protection firearm and a concealed weapons permit but it was like she is still in denial.........
Yawn ....Ho Hmmmm...

Sorry I gave you the wrong impression. There was no intent and I apologize for it happening.
Turnabout is fair play I guess. Red Robbin has been robbing their customers blind on their over priced lousy hamburgers for awhile now
safe and the accomplice removed approx. $10,000 in cash.
They just happened to have $10,00 in cash and no cameras. Who knew this info besides the manager? Sounds like an inside job
Super sleuth!
The manager was the girlfriend of my friend’s son. Since the story was very vague, I thought I’d fill in the cracks.
Naive to a fault. Your friends sons girlfriend is the one who set it up, with her other “friends”. Maybe not even on purpose, but having a big mouth to the wrong people. Thugs don’t rob a place like that in the morning expecting a $10,000 payday at random. Lack of cameras is not something that would be expected nowdays either
Please freepmail me if you wish to be added or dropped from the mitten ping.
One of their waitresses did her paralegal internship in my office.
Possibly, but lots of restaurants have to keep the prior nights cash on premises until the bank opens.
How many don’t have cameras these days? The story reeks of inside job. The whole story sounds too easy. I’m not a detective, but it’s like when a spouse turns up dead, you focus on the obvious
