In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “Word for the Day”.
Blitzkrieg
Noun
A swift, sudden military offensive, usually by combined air and mobile land forces.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

This weekend the blitzkrieg will happen on the football field, not the debate stage. Time for a HUGE break from politics to cheer the Giants, or the Patriots. GO TEAM! Bring on the commercials and the beer.

Blitzrieg.
Blitzrieg is what everyone called the food at the Never Feltwell Cafe’. It was one of the few places where the chili con furry bubbled more when it was cold than when it was hot. And the food made an attack everyone went mobile in the air if they didn't land right quick.
The Cafe’s motto is “Every Customer is a Potential Survivor”
