This is in the "Chit Chat" area so nobody get bent out of shape. My son loves to play Battlefield 3 on his XBox, I'm more of a Call of Duty guy.
You gotta see this kill this guy made in actual gameplay, let me lay it out for you:
He's being dogged by an enemy jet, he flies straight up for a while, ejects, pulls out his shoulder held rocket launcher, takes out the attacked, and is able to crawl back into his now nearly stalled jet and fly off, simply amazing.
The video is only 30 seconds long, but well worth it.
I don’t like war games or sport games.
My position is that why pretend, when you can actually go out and experience the real thing?
Are you kidding, this game is so real if you die in the game you die in real life
HOLY CRAP! This is YOUR kid? Are you sure? This video’s been out there for a while. My platoon and I have talked quite extensively about the logistics of this move.
I play BF3 pretty much daily. One of the best squad-based modern warfare games on the market right now.
Oh NOOO !!! Not my kid, sorry, didn’t mean to confused, he just turned me onto this video the other day. I must admit though, he’s pretty darn good, flies his jet under bridges and takes out everyone in the sky, it’s all too stressful for me. I just like to run around on call of duty and shoot, lately, been having fun with my bouncing betty’s, love it when I get a kill from those.
That’s friggen awesome.
However, you know, trying to explain that to a non-gamer is going to cause the conversation to get sidetracked with the natural question: ‘How exactly does one eject from a fighter jet, and be carrying an RPG?’
Made me laugh audibly. Thanks for posting.
The Scythians were a warlike, mounted people with strange customs and unlikely origins who lived beyond the Danube and repulsed Darius and the Persians in 513 B.C.E., making them the first Europeans to throw back an eastern invasion.
So they’ve been doing cool stuff like in this video for about 2500 years.
A-Team!
You are playing a game and get killed like this.
Doesn’t sound like fun.
I play it all the time too.. never have seen this video but my first impressions are... what’s he shootin at way on the other side of the airstrip first of all to get a double kill... it’s off the game map?..
then why bail out of your plane and fire an RPG at something you can’t even see on a shot you probably would never make on a plane you couldn’t have assumed was going to come straight up after you instead of dog fighting?.. the moves he made are illogical in a real game situation and were done to impress with the help of special effects or some good hacks
I’ll call BS on this
I play obsessively, have a couple hundred hours. The video is obviously the best take of several dozen attempts.
It’s definitely done in-game. I won’t argue that. The only impression I get is that this is a non-PB or non-ranked server with possible aimbot or multi-hack. Look up the guy’s stats on Battlelog... he’s def. a flying ace.
Also notice on the longer video that he uses freelook while in the jet to see where the other jet might be. I fly with a stick, and I constantly look around; however, deliberately flying up the six of an enemy jet to shine him on is the last thing you want to do.
If this is legit, more power to him! There are some insane BF2 jet videos out there much the same as this. Until EA/DICE fix the jet “hover” issue, this sort of stuff will be commonplace.
I’m SchismAresti in-game if you want to friend me.
you are ignorant of what our troops do in practicing for the real thing.. a huge percentage play these games online to keep their hand eye coordination in top shape.. I know because there are 4 or 5 in my squad and they tell me that.. one of my squaddies was playing W@W with us while recovering from a IED attack on him in Iraq... the real military practices on simulated computer generated consoles everyday for training..
I’m still Battlefield 1942. I have done the same thing ejecting from an ME-109 and blasting a Spitfire with a Panzerschreck.
Relax and learn to take a joke.
Do you really think I was suggesting that it’s better to actually go and fight a war, rather than sit in front of a comnputer monitor and play a simulation of it?
I got the joke but having been on both ends, the computer is more relaxing.
LMAO! Thanks for sharing. I’ll play my son strategy games now and then but he’s mastered the FPS stuff. I don’t dare set foot in that territory...
Awesome. To heck with the naysayers. Life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I am 47 and I hope I live to be 107 so I can keep playing these amazing games. Sure, I work 60 hrs a week and make sure to spend 2 hrs of QT with my kid every day. but 9 pm on? I am blowing up, knifing, and shooting Nazis, commies, and zombies. It’s a blast. Have fun.
Caspian Border...good map
