Newt Gingrich was in Top Form during a post Las Vegas News Conference-FoxNews with blindspots
February 4, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Newt Gingrich is a brilliant speaker and a brilliant political leader. He demonstrated an opennes and a command of conservatism during his post LasVegas Caucus news conference. Fox News analysts were openly unfair in their analysis of Gingrich's news conference. They were openly jealous that Newt is head and shoulders above Romney, Santorum and Paul. Fox News has blindspots, since only Charles Krauthammer acknowledged Gingrich's superiority over Romney in expressing detailed policy positions such as Obama's denying American Catholics Freedom of Religion by forcing them to violate their beliefs by requiring them to pay for artificial contraception with Obamacare requirements.

Yes. He was real good. He makes it clear that Ronald McRomney can not beat Obama.

I don’t know wheter to get angry or cry. It is disgusting the way Faux News and the gop establishment have treated the ONLY true conservative we have running in this election. Romney openly admitted he is a moderate and he also is proud of his socialized medicine in Mass. What is wrong with people? what happened to the conservatives in the GOP? I am no longer a republican...after all these years of working, donating and fighting for the party..what do we have? one rino after another being supported by them...it is maddening

Yes, they were unfair and very snippy.
The woman on the panel with the ugly green eye shadow (The Hill reporter) was awful.
The people on CNN were disgusting.
The average person to them are the problem.
The educated elites know better.
I feel like we are in a twilight zone.
I hope people in the other states stop Romney.

It was very good. AND I’m looking forward to his “new strategy” for dealing with Mitt when he out & out lies at the next debate. The reporter pressed him for what the change would be and he wasn’t giving it up. Can’t wait. I think maybe Feb. 22nd.

Very confident he will have Delegate lead after SuperTuesday and Texas.

BTW...I think I’m switching to CNN...

Fox absolutely sucks....get off of Romney’s nutz....please.

...and coverage of Caucus was just horrible.

I thought his “trampoline” for the poor was an excellent contrast to Romney’s not worried about the poor comments earlier this week. I would think Newt can win over many Independents AND maybe even some Dem’s come November with positive talk.

It amazes me how the elite lying establishment is trying to tear Newt down. All the more reason that Newt must be the nominee.

Katie, I watched both Fox and CNN and was utterly disgusted with the analysis. Unrelenting tearing Newt apart and not one word (that I heard) about the $17 million + spent by Romney on 90 % carpet bombing ads against Newt in Florida.

These parroting pundits are living in a parellel universe. Newt’s press conference was great and he said exactly what he should have said.

Romney threw down the gauntlet and Newt picked it up and ran with it brilliantly as only he can do.

Faux News is so inept. They start out by predicting what Newt would say, he talked about something different (brilliantly), then in their analysis they proved his point that the Republican establishment is almost entirely against him.

This is going to be the American Revolution all over again.

The media wants Romney for one reason and one reason only, because they know that Obama will clobber him. Even Donna Brazile said so weeks ago, came out and said it. Unfortunately the Republican party lost its way a long time ago and has not learned their lesson from 2008. They are instead going to nominate a guy that makes John McCain look decent.

Steve, AD(is that her name?), Kraut AND beaming Bret doing a happy dance for their guy, Mittens.
Why do we subject ourselves to this?

Folks, didn't you get it yet why Foxnews is so much into the tank for Romney? Foxnews Radio is mainly broadcast on the radio stations owned by Clear Channel communications which is in turn owned by Bain Capital... It is all about the money folks, always follow the money, always.

Of course they want Newt out of the race, a blind squirrel can see what’s going on..they see Romney as Obama’s ticket to a 2nd term, Obama will win in a landslide if Romney is the nominee. Obama won’t even need illegals or ACORN to help him win, he could win legit
