According to Michael Walsh, almost 20% of both Republicans and Indepedents along with 30% of Democrats have vowed that they will not vote for a Mormon for president. Yet the Republican establishment naively and foolishly believes this a non-issue. By November, chances are that many Americans will be given a first class education on the history of Mormonism, which will be very difficult to overcome at the ballot box ...
National Review has for the most part helped set this table. Roosting chickens on their way hometo the doofusses with a pen.
I think the poll results are biased by the fact that a particular Mormon is running. I will never vote for Romney. If Palin, DeMint, Cain, Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, or Santorum were LDS, I would happily vote for them. The problem with Romney is that he is a big government leftist, and that’s not what we need to reverse the destruction caused by the current big government leftist.
If Mitt Romney gets the GOP nomination then I’ll be voting for Roseanne Barr in protest.
The GOP does not have a “right” to my vote and if they nominate Mittens then they have not earned my vote.
Why is it that Dingy Harry Reid never has a “Mormon Problem”?
Same as Orin Hatch and others in Congress, they also HAVE A mormonISM Problem.
Maybe this is the year for FULL disclosure of the mormonISM CULT's beliefs.
Slight mis-statement in the headline - Frank Rich has a MORON problem, because he is one.
Reid isn’t running for President
Because he lives near Utah and is a Democrat.
Romney classically reflects the plastic nature of Mormonism. It is a fake religion, and his shallow politics is part and parcel of his Mormon faith. Perhaps more critical is that if he gets into office, with the oval office being one of the the biggest pressure cooker plates on the planet, he will certainly fall back on his Mormonism to help him survive. His Mormonism will play a strong role in his leadership style, and what he did in Massachussetts will be replayed on a national scale.
Mormonism makes the GOP look silly.
I have a question about Mormonism. I heard that they believe only married Mormons go to heaven. What happens if a Mormon man divorces his Mormon wife. Is she codemned to hell? Is she forced to marry another Mormon man to get into Mormon heaven?
We can also expect a SuperPac out of Napa or LA to run revealing ads on "magic underwear" and "interplanetary colonization".
There will be several interviews with ex-Mormons.
By the time the left is finished with it Mormonism and Moonie will be synonymous.
Right or wrong, it's pretty certain.
I will gladly provide such interviews. I am an ex-mormon.
Nobody here or elsewhere can say we didn't warn them.
They are a deceptive, dangerous and cruel cult that is very near to taking over a SECOND THIRD of our national government.
Obama will be re-elected in 2012, and it will be the mormon's fault.
Q: What do you call a group of people with very low IQs, who drink diet cola and eat fresh fruit while singing Christmas carols?
A: The Moron Tab and Apple Choir.
Look for a prime time run of the Mountain Meadows Massacre movie about Sept - Oct on NBC. 60 Minutes will be doing some in depth pieces on the Mormon church’s view on people of color coming up as well. Just in case anyone forgot.
