You can’t argue with the research…

1. Researchers have long known that people who have frequent sex are generally healthier
   
2. Most health benefits seem to be linked to penile-vaginal intercourse
   
3. Frequent sex may also bring longer life, fewer coronary events, lower blood pressure

Researchers have long known that not only is sex fun (when done with the right person, of course), but that people who have frequent sex tend to live longer and have healthier hearts and lower rates of certain cancers. These studies also show that men with an active sex life have healthier sperm, and sexually active women have fewer menopause symptoms.

The possible health benefits of sex are spelled out in a soon-to-be-published article in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. The editor-in-chief of that journal, Dr. Irwin Goldstein, says that when you read about the physical benefits of sex, “you can’t help but say, ‘Holy God! Sexual activity is a very important thing to do. Human beings were really meant to do this.’ ” Goldstein is also the director of sexual medicine at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego, California.

In the article, which reviews several decades’ worth of studies on sex and health, researcher Stuart Brody concludes that penile-vaginal intercourse — and not other types of sexual activity — confer the most health benefits. For example, five years ago, Brody, now a professor of psychology at the University of the West of Scotland, asked 46 people to give a stressful speech to a nasty audience. . . . . The same wasn’t true for people who’d participated in other forms of sexual activities. Brody says “evolution strongly rewards behaviors that increase the likelihood of successful gene propagation, and only one behavior — penile-vaginal intercourse — is potentially reproductive.”

Thanks all the same, but I'll remain single, celibate, and sane, and perhaps die young(ish). Too much drama in the male-female pair bonding that humans do. I've done my time. Now is time for me to reflect, pray, do penance, and point and laugh at young men, and foolish old men.

Hogwash! In the old days people were much more modest about sex and we built an entire nation because men were not using up most of their energies pleasuring themselves with women. It takes a lot of your manliness away if you have too much sex and also empowers the women to hate you! Because real love is having less sex until we eventually only have spiritual love left and warmth for our mate...no need to sex to feel good then! This is very bad propaganda that has been happening since the sexual revolution and look how badly we have devolved as a nation!

A man went to the doc with his wife. He was in pretty bad health. After the doc was finished with the examination, he called the wife out to give her the news. “ if you feed him three good meals a day and have sex at least twice a day for many months, he will have a full recovery.”

The wife then goes back into the room where her husband was waiting. “well, what did the doc say?” the wife takes his hand in hers and says, “ you’re going to die.”
