Mercy, a true Peta member I assume. While this act was a bit outrageous (he should have gathered the remains and eaten the legs - yum), you seem to take this act just a bit out of context. Yes, it was over the top.
No, I would not have done that - although hunting frogs for food is a good thing.
There are always those that take squashing a bug, swatting a mosquito, shooting a groundhog, etc...(you know who you are) as acts against humanity. I’d bet that most of you are not against abortion though...

I know very little about golf (what’s a birdie? what’s a bogie?) but I imagine that attending the trial would be a highly educational experience once the attorneys of the sides present golf experts.
I eat meat. Love it. I've even eaten frog legs. They're good. Like chicken, lol.
But there's a huge difference between hunting and fishing and harvesting animals for food and clothing, and wantonly killing them for no other reason than sadistic sport.
For want of a better term, the difference can be summed up by a simple phrase: Christian stewardship.

You don’t take it out on a loser’s pet (if this were even the case). You deal with the loser owner. Not the animal.
Some people get pissed people get upset about any other cause than the one they’re most adamant about. Nothing else matters. Abortion is huge but in this world if we only focused on one particular evil at the expense of the rest...? That’s why there are a lot of people with different issues that irk them, so they can fight and advocate against all different kinds of bad. Not saying they are all equal but I am saying certain issues resonate more with certain people. Got plenty of work to do out there for all of us.
Humor is not your strong suit.
But yet police shoot family dogs all the time and face no charges at all. Either dogs merit protection from murder, or they don’t.
