"Sounds like a pipe dream of yours. I heard her say NOTHING close to your conclusion!" From the WSJ, in December:
Early this fall, Sarah Palin helped start the original Herman Cain Train when she touted his conservative bona fides. Sarah Palin speaks during the Republican Party of Floridas fund-raising event Nov. 3, 2011 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (Photo by Roberto Gonzalez/Getty Images)
But with Mr. Cain looking less like a winning candidate, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee on Thursday offered a new name for Republicans looking for an anti-establishment candidate: Rick Santorum.
If voters start shifting gears and deciding they want ideological consistency, then theyre going to start paying attention to say, Rick Santorum, she said on Fox News. Ms. Palin praised the former Pennsylvania senator for his positions on Israel, abortion and income taxes.
Not that she absolutely did NOT praise Gingrich for his consistency, since he has not been consistent over time on some of his major positions.
Clearly, Sarah has a good bit of regard for Santorum, and would sleep well knowing he was POTUS.

You do know that this is a old video? Sarah just came out the other day and said that none of the current candidates are really talking about the things that the base really wants to hear......plus she has quit pumping up Newt for “if I was in this state’ I’ll vote for him’ since the Nevada caucuses. Maybe she will pump him up in the southern states but of course that to keep the process going as she has said
To: PreciousLiberty
LOL, you got a lot more from that throw away sentence from months ago, than I did.
I think that her actively inserting herself into the primary and having her husband endorse Newt, and her doing a non official endorsement of Newt before every vote, is her official position.

Tough. He’s the one closest to her positions and policies and she’s a fighter too.
She’s endured smears and lies. They have much in common.
She’s not an opportunistic backstabber, and both she and Newt Gingrich have been thoroughly vetted.

The funds raised in these FReepathons go to pay our current quarter expenses. But we're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little extra now, if we can, and the rest next quarter.

There was never a bigger fan or supporter of Sarah Palin than I......until she politely told us she isn’t running.
But she still keeps “priming the pump” j - u - s - t enough to keep the diehards salivating and fantasising about her somehow still becoming the candidate.
Frankly, I’m getting a little hacked off with her cutesy little hints around the edges about different aspects of several different candidates, but lacking whatever attribute would be necessary to cause her to cut the coquettish teasing and take a stand and name a name.
At this stage of the game, and until she does something concrete; words cannot express how little I care what cute little publicity stunt she comes out with next to make it seem like she’s still a player! She bowed out of the race. Now I’d think more of her if she’d just cut the silliness and go be a housewife.

*Sigh* those spineless RINOS are the problem. Big government, cross the aisle, politicians. TEA Party patriots are the only ones worthy of our votes and support.
I might add, that most of them are from the North East and big states like PA and MI.
The South has been saving the Union from the democrats for decades.
