Santorum is a liberal if you look at his voting record, and after all, isn’t that what counts here?

For someone who claims to be opposed to the left, you sure are doing a great job of spouting their lies, exaggerations and talking points. Sure most politicians, Newt and Santorum included, have made mistakes, but at least Newt has a record of conservative accomplishments. I can list a whole lot of anti-conservative things Santorum has voted for, two can play that game, but again, I ask you, what has Rick Santorum actually accomplished for conservatives?

“My understanding is that a two-term US senator has to really work at getting blown out of his third election, i.e. it isn’t basically easy to do.”

Yeah. Here is how I see it. Rick lost his last election and since all he knows what to do is be a politician, he decided to go for broke and run for the big prize.

He might be lucky or at least get his name out there.

If not win the thing, he knew that who ever is the nominee will need a VP and a VP from Pennsylvania adds to the count.

Could he be booking to be the Romulian VP.

It almost starts to sound like a brokered convention might be the happy ending. We need somebody like Paul Ryan or Scott Walker for a candidate.

Really? It might do you good to read the WHOLE article and not the headline.

“The results of the Georgia straw poll suggest that the latest Georgia polls may not be accurately measuring Mr. Paul’s support in the Peach State. A recent Landmark/Rosetta Stone poll of likely voters in the Georgia Republican primary found Mr. Paul with 5 percent of the votes and Mr. Gingrich with 35 percent of the votes”

IMO, all those polls are bogus.

But if Gingrich can’t win Georgia....the lights go out.

Pop quiz: Which Republican presidential candidate supported the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor?
Hint: It’s the same one who endorsed a pro-abortion-rights presidential candidate in an earlier campaign.
Give up? The answer is Rick Santorum.

Santorum not only supported Specter. He ran an ad for him.
“Arlen is with us on the votes that matter,” Santorum said in an ad for Specter. “I’m proud to endorse Arlen Specter.”

This is only part of it. Santorum has not been properly vetted.
Even before this RINO voting record above came out,
he stuck me as a petty, egotistical little weasel

He needs to put his ego aside, put his country before himself and drop out.

Nice prospect....BUT!!

A brokered convention would throw the choice into the laps of the behind-the-scenes-wheeler-and-dealer party establishment insiders who would pick Daniels, Jeb Bush, CHris Christie or some equally nefarious alternative.

FURTHER, a brokered convention settlement of the nominee issue would have to wait until September for a designated candidate. That would limit the Obama bashing to two months.

A Super Tuesday decision would result in several more months to bash the bastard in the White House.

Remember, the public has been exposed to several months of the circular firing squad called the “Debates”, which has hurt ALL of the GOP candidates as well as our chances of dethroning the bastard. We need time for Santorum - or SOMEBODY 0- to play catch up!!

let me start off by saying that if newtirs concentrated their fire on romney and obomba i would do the same. that said santorum did not buy into gorebull warming hoax. he stands up for values and illustrates how social issues have economic consequences just as economic policy has direct influence on moral concerns. in order to fix what s broken both should be equally important to our leades. newt now claims he wants to dismantle many of the agencies he created. santorum has also shown that the values voters are better to lead than those big tent moderates who say we should accpt those who sanction murder of the unborn for the sake of winning a majority of rinos wh end up carryimg the water for dumocrats anyway.
