Has anyone eaten at Byron's Drive Inn, in Honolulu Hi?

This place gets reviews that range from raves to scowls.
I used to love this place in the early eighties.

I used to get this plate of korean ribs asian bbq beef and bbq fish with rice for like $5

The loco moco was great too.

I was just wondering if anybody else out there had eaten at this dive and what they thought of the place.

Millions of military have been served.

I'll wait till the other thousands of FReepers who have dined in Honolulu chime in with their reviews before I offer mine.......

I am certain the the Big Wave truck wasn’t there when I was there, and I was there for 2 years of and on.

I can get awesome shrimp tacos here in tiny town Tx, but I cant get to loco moco.

Man, I’m jonesing!

Hawaiian food must be a trend because Hawaiian restaurants are popping up all over the Phoenix area.

The way I remember it, it was a poor sailors delight.

They fed you good for cheap, and the food was good.
I know the place is a dive, but I have fond memory’s.

Food in Hawaii is excellent. It’s a culinary and cultural cross collateral.

The food styles are all mixed up in a good way.
To bad Obama is a product of Hawaii too.
He’s mixed up in a bad way.

Sounds like you need to go get in the Sandbox for a few mintues and you’ll remedy your problem. Then you’ll have no excuses. It is simple and you’ll learn in a couple of minutes.
