In the spirit of Mary Anne and Ginger, which would you choose?

Higher mileage version?

Nah, she's still one classy dame! Like a fine wine, the older it gets, the sweeter it becomes.

I think she is in her 60’s now. She could look worse for an old broad.

Being I don’t even remember the Mighty Isis TV show, my vote has to go to Wonder Woman, who’s show became an icon of the time.

Isis (the kids show) didn’t do a lot for me at the time, but I have seen JoAnna Cameron in some early-70s tv-shows (along with that silly 1969 Bob Hope film she’s in), and I have to admit, she’s amazingly fetching. I’ll give her the edge.

But kudos to both actresses for their refreshingly innocent, good-natured and unpretentious portrayals of said heroines. You just don’t see that sort of approach at all in the culture nowadays, when it comes to female protagonists. Instead they tend to snarl and curse and act like ‘obnoxious males.’

“Instead they tend to snarl and curse and act like ‘obnoxious males.’”

Uh, that’s ALL “heroes” these days. Every movie TV show has to have cussing, !%#@$ing and potty humor. (”Kids’ shows” aren’t far removed, either.)

In the old days, many more women were much tougher than women today. The actresses stink at being tough today; they’re wimps poorly chosen. In the old days, the broads WERE tough. Female superheroes would’ve pulled off much better in the days of Crawford and Stanwyck. (Never mind much classier.)

Wonder Woman has been reinvented.

Adrianne Palicki:

I vote for Wonder Woman, as a renewable resource.

None of the above, I’ll go with Kate Beckinsale’s character from Underworld.

Don’t forget: With Mighty Isis you also get Andrea Thomas, the naughty librarian/archeologist who found the amulet that turns her into Mighty Isis. Also, Joanna Cameron is in the running for the best legs ever. And she did tons of Navy ads and films, some with Roger Staubach. At 60, she looks like 35, fit and pretty.

A fit active woman who can kick butt, deflect bullets, and do rope tricks.

Or a girl who runs home to her Mummy.

Do you really have to ask?
