you only eat them during lent? i don’t associate them with Lent in particular, though i do look forward to the Eastern rite Ukrainian church having that Pysankyfest later in Lent, bc they have homecooked dishes for sale there.
Yeah, pretty much. They’re good “fast” food cause they aren’t very big but they’re filling.
I’m much more likely to have fish or seafood any time of the year than pierogies. Based on the supermarket displays of them this time of year, i’m not alone.
