Ethicists blast chair of science ethics panel for taking global warming skeptic group’s papers

WASHINGTON — In the field of climate science, when someone — especially skeptics — did something ethically questionable or misrepresented facts, scientist Peter Gleick was usually among the first and loudest to cry foul. He chaired a prominent scientific society’s ethics committee. He created an award for what he considered lies about global warming.

Now Gleick admits that he posed as a board member to get and then distribute to the media sensitive documents from a conservative think tank that is a leader in denying mainstream climate change science.

From the AP article via. The whole article is a soft sell for readers to continue to think AGW is still true. Reporter mentions the fourteen million or so driving the Heartland activities but seems to have slipped in not mentioning the hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars distributed to the AGW crowd over the years.
I would not be surprised if the L/MSM conspire to turn the situation around to make the Heartland Institute look like the law breaker and not the one who committed the crime(s).

Otherwise, they’d not be relying on their own self definition of ethics (”you will be as gods, knowing good and evil”) and would be relying on the revealed Word as their guide.
