Of course the G-E-C chimes were the best known, but CBS had it’s own chimes too:

Fact is, the famous NBC chimes were produced by a motorized gizmo, except for these very early days:

All of course actually WERE News networks, in sharp contrast to what we have today no matter what it’s called.
