Only as a small dot, if that. At its closest it will still be further away from us than the Sun is.

Ditto! I recall those two comets back during the 90s. They were among the most beautiful things I've ever seen in nature. I've been longing for when we'll be able to see another one. Amazing how we had those just a couple of years apart, and we might not see another during our lifetimes.
