OK, probably heretical on freerepublic, but i am furious with Rush for stirring up this taradiddle with Miz Fluke. Once again I am treated to watching facebook light up with how mean spirited the republicans are. Rush was absolutely correct in calling out the sheer lunacy of her comments, but as soon as he descended to the pejoratives, then all hell was let loose. Now, instead of anyone paying attention to HER attack on MY church, she is a gosh darned martyr for her cause. Rush fell right into the trap that the Dems set with this stupid mandate anyway....get the attention OFF the piss-poor economy and the price of gas and onto social issues. Thanks a freaking lot, Rush.
Happy Super Tuesday. No taradiddlin’ i voted for Mitt this AM in the VA primary. Only had him or the NUTBAG to choose from here, so that waasn’t hard. I CAN report though that my evangelical relatives are all voting Santorum. My bro’s family in OH, and my SIL’s parents in TN all voting for Rick. It’s the Catholic who shares our values over the Mormon there, and the serial whoremonger doesn’t evince the same values i guess, albeit Catholic. xsjr cast her first vote ever. xshub took a cellphone pic of her with the I VOTED sticker on, next to the sample ballot and texted it to me. I was #1 voter at 6:30 am, though the polls opened at 6 am, and at 7:30, xshub and xsjr were #s 15, and 16, so not a huge turnout. xsteen will go after work.
To say she is his mother is an utter bit of folly!

Let’s not get carried away now. The show was amusing for its time, but did spawn “Mama’s Family,” one of the worst, schlockiest excuses for a sitcom ever.
Sorry, I had long since forgotten about that show. I only remember watching the originals in reruns after school. Mama’s family was not funny, and depressing, to boot.
and what sort of magic act will be called into play to save the day for Obams if it looks even close. His friends tanked the economy in ‘08 to pull that last caper off.
Have you been watching “Life’s Too Short” on HBO? The pilot was just OK, but last week’s 2nd episode with Johnny Depp was hilarious. Haven’t seen this week’s show yet.

Back in Drum Corps days, the drummers had rudimentary exercises. The most basic was a ‘Paradiddle”: R-L-R-R L-R-L-L (over and over again).
Then double Paradiddles: R-L-R-L-R-R L-R-L-R-L-L
And Triples: R-L-R-L-R-L-R-R L-R-L-R-L-R-L-L
Nothing to do with this word other than: it rhymes. Really. No taradiddle.

my lib friend at work has said she’s been getting emails asking for $ from the obama campaign. since she’s not given, they are now demanding an explanation.. actually a survey questioning why no cash thus far, wanting to know are you waiting for a repub candidate to see if it’s necessary, or what? have you decided to not EVER give?

I did not even follow the link, cause my friends in high school and I played padiddles when we were out cruising around on Friday nights. The Spring is the best time to find them as the cold winter kills headlights. We also made wishes when we went under yellow lights, and they always came true :)

Without a conservative to choose from, I don’t blame them for not turning out. Sad state of affairs. Why I bother to vote here in NY, I have no idea. The state will go to the dems no matter what. Tonight’s results should shake things loose a bit.
