Sorry .. mea culpa. Somehow I missed the memo detailing how my primary function on the radio is to say things that you will all agree with so that nobody will get mad at me. Now, from the looks of the email and Twitter, some of you dont like me very much at all. Most of you I dont know personally so Ill survive. Some of the folks that are, shall we say, royally pissed, are friends. Now that hurts. But Ive always been honest with both my friends and my listeners on how I feel about the issues .. and that doesnt stop during the Year of Talking Dangerously.
OK so why are folks mad? Because yesterday on the show I revealed that I voted for Mitt Romney in the Florida Primary, and that if I were eligible to vote in Georgia I would have voted for him yesterday as well. Voting in two states wouldnt have been nice so I didnt.
Not that my opinions here are worth any more but yours, but heres where I stand on this all-important contest as of right now.

Wow... everything is insane
Looked like it was going to be a Boortz version of Slutgate. I wish. It’s more MittKoolAidGate.
Every “conservative” talk radio host I’ve heard during this primary season has been pushing Romney.
Every last stinking one of them, from top to bottom. Usually it’s subtle, below the surface but effective.
Why? Why are all of them pushing Romney when he is not representative of conservatism?
Policy wise Myth is Ted Kennedy with an (R).
Bakshish?? Money Romney talks? Buying yap-yap lapdogs?
The Talkmaster has had a frontal lobotomy.
It’s no wonder Romney is so far ahead. I always thought Boortz was a Conservative. My, how that title is thrown around these days.
He states: “ The candidate I would most like to see become president. That would be Newt Gingrich. Hes brilliant. Hes solutions-oriented. And more than any other candidate Newt understands where the greatness of America comes from -— and that aint government. Newt won Georgia. Thats it. He didnt finish any better than third in any other Super Tuesday state. Sarah Palin did vote for him in Alaska, but Newt finished 4th in Palins home state. Right now his campaign is struggling.
Yes, because of cowardly men like Boortz and to some degres Mark Levin as well.
Neal’s not a conservative. He’s a libertarian—mostly.
Although this hardly helps in explaining his support for Romney.
Boortz is pro-abortion and regularly ridicules Christians on his show.
For some reason, they think Romney is the only one who’s “electable”. Why? I don’t know. When you look at Romney’s actions while governor, he’s basically BHO lite. It’s like they don’t want to vet him.
Newt’s getting hughly and seriesly misunderestimated. He’s the Contract With America guy. He can work with a part-Rat political situation and still get reasonable results. If Mitt were truly the “best we can do” I could see it, but he ain’t. Not even close.
The candidate that would be the biggest disaster for the GOP. Rick Santorum, hands down. Come on, folks. Heres a guy who as much as says that sex is for making babies .. and if youre not trying to make a baby you should keep it in your pants. Yes, he appeals to the turbos, but he is a complete disaster when it comes to independent voters, especially women. If there is one certainty in this election it is that Santorum cannot and that is a no-way-in-hell cannot beat Barack Obama.
Santorum would be an auto-loss - on a massive, landslide defeat scale. We'd lose the House along with it. Mitt would likely lose narrowly, Rick would be absolutely crushed.
Still hoping people come to their senses and get behind Newt. Gingrich is the only alternative at this point, but it seems like the social values voters are determined to make a statement and back Santorum even though he has not even the slightest chance of winning a general election.
I don’t believe they push Romney because they think he’s the only one electable.
I think they’ve sold out, each at his own price. This is why I don’t trust them—not a single one of them.
Mitt has drowned Newt in sh*tstorms of lying ads. But he won’t hardly look at Obama himself crosswise. Mitt is a recipe for a second term of Obama.
The great one, Mark Levin, said on air that he supports Santorum.
Gee Boortz, just lay down and lick the place where your balls used to be while you’re at it.
No surprise, Boortz...
but as to you snidely stating your job is to “say things everyone wants to hear” or whatever...no prob.
I just don’t listen to you!
boortz is an idiot! Today he goes on a rant about how a politician needs to connect with people. He said romney, Newt arent connecting like the great giver of US secrets to china, willy clinton. Yet, the person that connects the best, Sarah Palin, he despises. Get lost boortz.
I am very disappointed!!! I would NEVER have dreamed that Neal
would vote for Romney!!! I WILL NEVER vote for Romney looks like WE
have more principals than they do and that is all that matters!!! Romney
will NEVER win because WE all despise him!!! GOP-E is in for a rude
awakening they truly believe we will all fall in line!!! NOT !!!
