The ‘rats are playing poker with
Invidious rhetoric and such-
They’ve overplayed their hand
And decidedly lost their touch

And those race and income cards
Are getting stale, after all-
They might as well be Gorbachev
Defending the Berlin Wall

And that gender card doesn’t work-
It just won’t pass the test
Most women want their rights-
Not to be at government behest ...

It is 40 and stormy-brrr! I went to fetch a few groceries for the weekend, and am in for the day. As soon as the rain lets up, I’ll need to go fetch wood for a fire tonight-I’ll probably be able to find dry deadfalls in the deep woods.

A+++ Great job!

Sounds like a good plan. Snowing pretty heavy here now, looks like it’s going to stick this time.

Snow stopped and it’s already melting off the trees and grass. Easy come, easy go.

It is still raining here, and supposed to keep up until Sunday-we need it so that is great, if inconvenient.

OK, now I am ticked off......was out running errands, stopped at Panera to get a bowl of soup and tried to download that book. I have been charged for it, but the system is down and after ten minutes on the phone, I still cannot open the book. FRUSTRATING.

You’re supposed to be watching basketball, not reading.

This is the same team that had the bench clearing brawl isn’t it? Looks like the refs are playing for the black shirted team tonight.

I am having my best game ever on TextTwist while i watch, since I can’t READ my Nook.

Oh no, I’m sorry! We were at Panera earlier today because the youngest loves their mac and cheese. Could it BE more over-priced?

All I know is that if you went in a time machine to Y2K and told people the Big East men’s basketball final would be Louisville v Cincinnati, they’d think you were smoking crack!

It’s something that should happen in about 4 weeks to a 30-win team.

Xshub heard from a friend who’s up in NYC. They went by MSG last night just to see what was going on and they were selling tickets to the final game of big east championship Louisville v Cincinnati at cut rate. Giving tix away since SU was out. He took his moot court students to the game for dirt cheap.
