I agree that would be a winning strategy.... but a mighty expensive one.
Elway made it clear that Tebow is their guy; they're sticking with him all the way.....and that was in January. He'd look awfully bad if he up and traded Tebow away for a banged up old warhorse like Manning (who I happen to admire greatly, I hasten to add).
This reminds me of Montana's latter days in the league. No one will remember him as a KC Chief; he will always be a '49er. Same with Manning; he will always be a Colt.
All that said, makes one wonder just how expensive Manning will be for a team that will take him on and let him finish his career with some dignity. I'm betting....not THAT expensive.
