Christians Have No Right to Wear Cross at Work, Says Government
The Telegraph ^ | 10 Mar 2012 | David Barrett

Christians do not have a right to wear a cross or crucifix openly at work, the Government is to argue in a landmark court case.

In a highly significant move, ministers will fight a case at the European Court of Human Rights in which two British women will seek to establish their right to display the cross.

It is the first time that the Government has been forced to state whether it backs the right of Christians to wear the symbol at work. A document seen by The Sunday Telegraph discloses that ministers will argue that because it is not a “requirement” of the Christian faith, employers can ban the wearing of the cross and sack workers who insist on doing so.

The Government’s position received an angry response last night from prominent figures including Lord Carey, the former Archbishop of Canterbury.

He accused ministers and the courts of “dictating” to Christians and said it was another example of Christianity becoming sidelined in official life.

Lillian Ladele, who worked as a registrar for Islington council in north London for 17 years, said she was forced to resign in 2007 after being disciplined, and claimed she had been harassed over her beliefs.

The solution is a Cross Tattooed in the middle of the forehead. This is common in the areas where Islamofascism is intruding into traditional Coptic areas.

Tea, but try taking away the Muslim headpieces and you will find yourself without a head.

Good grief, Jews don’t HAVE to wear yarmulkes but if someone was “offended” by someone wearing one they’d rightfully be called a bigot. And it would not surprise me in the least if Stars of David are banned in Britain, too. Britain doesn’t realize the whirlwind they are reaping. What a cesspool that once great country has become.

Only for Jews. If you're not a Jew not to worry.

The Copts in Egypt definitely put it on the line every time they walk out the door with a cross tattooed on the forehead.

It should be up the employer. If he wants to let his employees wear a cross, fine. If not, that’s fine too.

The rub would be if certain groups and their symbols are given special protection while Christian symbols are not.

The continuing of cleansing society of Christianity and its symbols. And thus helping end a cornerstone of Western civilization.

Yes.

The entire foundation, actually.

A document seen by The Sunday Telegraph discloses that ministers will argue that because it is not a ha-jib, burka, or symbol of the crescent moon and star, employers can ban the wearing of the cross and sack workers who insist on doing so.

There, fixed it.

From the article, it seems the LGBT folks are the ones wanting to ban Catholic or other Christian symbols. Kill religion is their goal.

To the non-believer, those symbols of religon are just trinkets, the only people who could or would be offended by them would have to be a devil.
