In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Last night his boss, theO, flew off to a basketball game in Dayton, Ohio.
Just WHO is out of touch?
Stand up Chuck! errr....make that SIT DOWN JOE!
a pain in the ass?
I see you are IBTP! A+++
Seeing that horses patoot with PM Cameron in Dayton yesterday, and the announcers on TruTV fawning over him, nearly put me over the edge last night. Gee, do you think that Ohio’s electoral votes had anything to do with that trip???? He’s not yet revealed his brackets, but he told the guy last night he has Ohio State [the announcer’s alma mater] going to the final four.
The Worlds Going To End
The worlds going to end, some day, some day,
But I can tell you when.
When I stop cranking out for it,
The impetus to spin.
Oh, yes, its me whos at the heart,
Of every things conjunction,
I noticed this while still quite young,
Who else could make it function?
Nothing happens when Im not there,
Though some pretend it does.
They cannot fool me for I see,
Its just the way it was.
I feel perplexed and puzzled,
You all will go some day,
When my senescence brings a close,
To all you have to say.
Like silent ghosts youll drift away,
While I in sleep descend.
And on that sad and somber day,
The world will have its end.

the JERK was trying to relate to white men? LOL
Alas, I never saw that banana peel and found myself involved in a disastrous solipsism.
This solipsism sounds just like people who should keep their lips pressed tightly together for long periods of times. This is also well known for preventing Fatlipsism.
Whenever he speaks (a lip schism)
Barack reveals his solipsism
“I am Obama
And I killed Osama”
A textbook display of pure egotism
A+++ this is his last hurrah.....the trashcan of history will not be kind.
I love a good cat fight. A+++
I checked in with #stoptweetingsoledad today. Spotted #waronwomen but I can’t come up with a good one. LOL It’s hotter than the soledad ones, but this one is mostly lib women. too funny.
A little kiss? The solipsism is almost cleared up.
Existential Solipsism is a
byproduct of Spiritual Materialism
If he wanted to pretend to relate to white guys, he’d go to a hockey game.
and risk getting booed like MO at nascar?
DO NOT WISH HIM ON THE CAPS!
i would dearly love to see Maher stripped of an audience and a forum. he is beneath contempt.
Heard a little of it ... bad enough to gag a maggot.
they kept going to him in at his seat, watching what he was doing. he had a baby in his arms at one point, and they were like OMG someone get a camera. GEE, no politician on earth has ever held a dang baby! Literally i was screaming aloud GET OFFA HIM for God’s sake!
only bc you have the work filter constraining you there... you dog ; )
I was peeping in at the game now and then ... glimpsed the baby thing when they handed him one as he was leaving .... had to walk out of the room until they got to interviewing the WK coach. Bill Clinton used to make my skin crawl whenever I heard/saw him, but BO .... he makes me seriously nauseous.
yum, apple pie!
Continuing our newsletter series called, "Have you ever met a number you didn't like?," today, 3/14, we're featuring the number π and we're introducing a new poetic form, the piku. Piku is a hybrid of pi and haiku. It combines the form of a haiku poem with the further constraint that the number of letters in the words of the poem is determined by the digits of pi. Traditionally, a haiku has seventeen syllables split into three lines, the first with five syllables, the second with seven syllables, the last with five syllables again. The digits of pi, when written out in decimal form, determine the number of letters in the words of the poem.
Here is my first piku:
For a time a child
Meditates on family
Later she finds strength
i honestly thought that Clintoon gave me the tourettes but OBams? holy crap, i scream profanity i didn’t know i knew!
On a related thought, what will the day be called exactly three years from today?
Ha! My company cafeteria just sent out a note inviting us to eat pie for pi day.
i was just thinking that 3/14/14 will be special. but ONLY IF the Mayans have it wrong... ; )
i gave up sweets for Lent, but dang that pie looks good! i’m J if you get to eat Pi!
Nah, I brung my lunch today.
lunch or no, i would be marching my behind to the cafeteria for PIE! strawberry rhubarb is really good, and Cherry, and Apple and Blueberry, or some of each maybe!
I guess my question is: “If 3/14 is called pi day, should 3/14/15 be called something like ‘super pi day’?”
because it’s even PI-ier than 3/14? i guess so! the math nerds are likely to go wild ; )
#1 cause of death of African Americans. now incredibly sad.
I am sooooooooo glad that he has f-—ing time to do the g—d-— brackets! Solipsistic jerk. Has he no self awareness? None? Like, maybe, sorry everyone, too much goin’ on this year, I didn’t have time to do a bracket pick......NOT.
Not here, where it is 14/03/2012.
Love it! What will really make this story great is when the douchy liberals try to defend him, then find out he was flashing the east side residents of town, they are going to be so conflicted between rights of the poor downtrodden and the white male abortionist.
Malkin is such a great writer
i love you. you are me : )
i KNOW, and she speaks equally well off the cuff on the shows, always with a great turn of phrase, never at a loss for words. i WISH i was articulate as she is.
