Bad Smell Blanketing the DC Metro Area

Let's hope it's decided to get rid of it in November, so that it'll be completely out of here by the end of January, 2013.

What mystery is this? You are aware, I trust, that the Regress is in session.

Sheesh. What chemical stench could possibly match that event, eh?

There’s a big load of garbage that needs to be dumped.

It resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Or the Aroma of Tacoma. Nothing tops that. And I've been to Terre Haute, too.

Not sure if it's still like it, but I remember driving through a patch of Georgia where some big carpet manufacturers were located. It stunk for MILES. Not sure if it was the companies or what.

Gingko trees?

I call them "Stinko" trees. They smell like a combination of vomit and diarrhea. Yet you see them planted all over Manhattan.

It's the smell of the rotting corpse of our Constitution that was killed Friday evening when “The Great Dictator” crowned himself by issuing the “National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order”. “Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kind of neat, Huh?”

Its gonna cost a couple billion dollars just to get the stink out of the White House next January. Hell, they are probably just going to have to burn it down and build a new one.

More likely a paper mill. Were you on 75 between Atlanta and Chattanooga?

There used to be one near Alexandria, LA, as well, but I haven't smelled it my last few times through there. Don't know if it's closed, or if I'm just not hitting the wrong days.

I love the smell of papermills and lowcountry swamp land at low tide. Reminds me of summer vacations in my childhood. My family think I am nuts but those smells have happy memories associated with them for me.

This from president obama:

“Under my plan to get rid of the odor in DC, we will be providing a stimulus of $999 billion to research and solve the problem. Just think. For under a trillion dollars, we will clean the air and create at least a dozen jobs. We expect success to be achieved by the end of my second term.”

That’s New Ark, DE as opposed to Newrk, NJ.

The stink around mushroom houses is unforgetable. Think fertilizer soaked in damp rags and then heated.
