I must agree. I had read it "...four times as high as here..." from the previous mention of Holland and the topic of the high rate of teen sexual activity - in which case a higher pregnancy rate seemed logical. My bad.

I have no need for that personal knowledge. At 57 I think I have heard about pretty much every perversion that exists. It’s not going to change any liberal minds for me to hear about it.

It's a joke, but not funny. It's just Business.

Something happens and 17 year old girl gets pregnant. You often have embarrassed parents, panicked boyfriend (who often pressures for abortion or skips town), boyfriend's parents, and social pressures all trying to point a confused and scared girl into an abortion, where Planned Barrenhood makes their money. Business.

I wasn't a perfect guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I was brought up a certain way. If she's pregnant, get the ring. Do the right thing.

At 33, my (then) fiance and I went to my parents’ for the weekend and he slept in my brother’s old bedroom and I slept in my old bedroom. I hadn’t lived in my parents’ home in more than 10 years at that point. Neither he nor I thought anything of it, and he and I had been together, and visiting my parents, nearly 4 years at that point (it will be 24 in June.)

Parents may not be able to stop it - but they do not have to condone it.
