Denver traded quarterback Tim Tebow to the NY Jets.
I’ll bet Manning doesn’t play a down for Denver.
4th round pick. Kind of a slap in the face for a former 1st round pick.
It will be interesting to see which team gets closer to the playoffs next year.
Tebow hype was the only reason I paid much attention to the Broncos this year.

Wow, one of the least expected destinations. Now the jets either have a QB controversy, or they have to trade away a mediocre QB that doesn’t build confidence with his teammates and has a new 3 year deal including 20 million in guarantees. I wasn’t believing the pundits when they said the Manning thing would have a huge ripple.
He’s not any better than Sanchez. The Jets might as well wave the white flag.
Emphasis on “former”, also a late first rounder and also unexpected, the whole world expected him to go in the 2nd or 3rd. Now he’s a guy with a sub 50 completion percentage, traded to a division with the Pats who whipped him twice last year.
You’re right, it will be an interesting season.
I think people will watch the Broncos just to see if/when Manning takes that career ending hit.
The J-E-T-S had Brad Smith playing Wildcat QB and WR until last season when he went to Buffalo. I can see Tebow doing the same thing.

I’m sorry to say this but Tebow was not 1st round material when he was drafted. The “experts” projected him as a 3rd-4th rounder.
Unknown to the rest of the football world, the jets also aquired Drew Stanton from detroit.... drew is far better than tebow, and will give sanchez a run for his money....
We’ll see how this young career progresses.
Josh McDaniels was a fool for drafting Tebow in the first round but this is what happens when your team ends up 31st in passing. Too bad Denver can’t get back those three picks they traded to take him early.
Or Sanchez who thinks he is competing with Derek Jeter in terms of bedding women vs the virgin Tebow.
How much?
I do enjoy watching everyone judging Tebow as having no potential whatsoever after only a partial season as starter.
You know what I saw? A gutsy QB with a lot of potential.
In ten years, one of us will be proven right.
