Man Threatening Others With Gun Accidentally Kills Self Instead

JACINTO CITY, Tex. (CBS Houston) - During a fight with his girlfriend and her brother, a man accidentally shot and killed himself while threatening the other two parties with a loaded shotgun.
According to KHOU, the Jacinto City Police responded to a complaint at a nearby home on Wednesday night around 10 p.m., and arrived to find a shooting victim lying out front.
The victim, an unidentified 20-year-old male, died on the scene.
Upon investigating, police reportedly found that the deceased was arguing with his girlfriend and her brother as he tried to kick the female out of the house.
He brought out a shotgun and allegedly began to fire it into the air, threatening both parties with it if they did not leave the premises.
While doing so, however, he accidentally shot himself in the neck area, wounding himself fatally.
No charges were filed against the girlfriend, or her brother.

Alternatively, the man needed killing, and the scene was too messy to shoot, shovel and shut up.
All involved parties got together, and agreed that the deceased threatened them with a shotgun before accidentally shooting himself in the back of the neck. That’s their story and they’re sticking to it.
