Here is the box score. Maybe Obama can now spend his time drilling for our own energy.

Les go Louisville!
I would rather Obama lose in the Supreme Court than on the Basketball Court.
The curse of Obama continues
Na Na Na Na hey hey good bye.
Rock Chalk Jay Hawk KU!!!!!!!!!
Ohio State versus Kansas next, right?
I was unhappy that NC lost but Obummer losing is a decent 2nd prize.
Kansas 80, N. Carolina 67
That’s the judgment of God on North Carolina for going for Obama in ‘08.
My bracket still lives.
I hate UNC so I’m happy. Not as much as Duke tho.
Speaking as a Maryland grad...
Sucks seeing the Gators choke two years in a row.
Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!!
He only picked North Carolina because it is a swing state and he was trying to support their team. Politics affects everything Obama does.
At least UF made the big dance...
UGA pathetic season as usual.
0bama is a pant load but even he, the messiah (small m) can’t predict the final 4.
2080 Caucus - Huckabee won KS (McCain came in 3rd); 2012 - Santorum won KS, big time (Mitt came in 3rd.)
Maybe Obama can now spend his time drilling for our own energy.? You have got to be kidding. He doesn’t give a tinkers damn about our gasoline prices! The Secret Services gases up the limo, the Marines take care of the helicopters and the Air Force refuels the Aircrafts. He wants $ 8.00 gas, so you will go out and buy a Chevy Volt and save the planet.
Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!!!
Despite the fact that I am a political junkie and worked on the Goldwater campaign in high school, I have no idea of how the electoral college went in 2008. I couldn’t watch. I was at the indoor range trying out a new gun and honing my skills in preparation for food riots.
But I must admit I love the state of N. Carolina. I’ve made three trips there and found it to be a great place.
Speaking as a wife and mother of 4 UVA grads, I love all ACC. I am really sick that they are all down. All those injuries probably made the difference. Who to follow now? I guess it will be Pitino.
What were Obama’s other picks for the Final Four? Are they all eliminated now?
Thanks to the thug play of Creighton. I wonder if the Kansas player was trying to break Harrison Barnes ankle.
More like Walk Chalk thugs
Maybe Maryland will make it to NIT in next few years.
Hey, as a neutral observer, I think you had a pretty good year. The big problem was that you had to play Kentucky three times. Getting to the Elite Eight isn't easy.
Just remember that every team in Division I basketball loses its last game except the national champs, the NIT champs, and whatever other tournament champions they've dreamed up. Aside from the NCAA champs, those others didn't even make it to the NCAA tournament. So only one team out of over three hundred really ends their season without a downer.
Frankly, after we lost Will Yuguete for the season, I thought we would be “one and done”. Before he got hurt, I thought we could reach the Final Four....and if we had Yuguete yesterday, I’m pretty confident we win the game.
As for that Kansas-UNC game, it was 47-47 at the half. That means that UNC must have really stunk it up in the second half, scoring a mere 20.
Nobody is going to beat Kentucky.
Our brave courageous young presIDent picked all the #1 seeds to be in the Final Four.
Only Kentucky survived.
The Ohio State/Kansas winner has a chance, especially Ohio State. Like it or not, The Big Ten was the strongest conference in the country this year overall.
It was 68-67 Kansas with 3:11 to go and UNC went ice cold and KU went on a 12-0 run.
I probably hate Carolina more than you do since I have been a State fan since the mid-seventies. I was pulling for Carolina tonight since I support all of the ACC teams once they get into the tournament. Carolina always seems to lose when I want them to win. :) At least State had a great chance to either win or send their game against Kansas into overtime on Friday night. I am already looking forward to next year!
Except if the NCAA vacates ther title.
Dude, it was like a bad déjà vu. I was going absolutely crazy the last 8:00. Why we stopped driving to the hoop or posting up Patrick was maddening.
As bad as this was, last year was even worse, I felt we really had a good shot at the title last year....I felt this year there was no way we would get past Kentucky, yeah we played them tough in the SEC tournament, but Kentucky wasn’t very motivated for that tournament, as evidenced by what Vandy did to them in the final.
Rock Chalk Jay Hawk KU!!!!!!!!!
You betchee! The roof was going off of our house today. Simply awesome game.
So he was right in 25% of the cases...at least ten times as often as he is on decisions he makes as President (and that’s giving him credit for “gimmes” like pardoning the Thanksgiving turkey).
OKay! Thanks very much.
UNC lost, not because their PG Marshall was out, but became Harrison Barnes was and is the most overrated recruit to come along in many a year. Hopefully he went back to Iowa from St. Louis and not back to Chapel Hill. Never want to see him again in a Carolina uniform again.
