This came out some days ago, but I never got around to posting it, this corrects my oversight. The description of the TED video reads:
Top climate scientist James Hansen tells the story of his involvement in the science of and debate over global climate change. In doing so he outlines the overwhelming evidence that change is happening and why that makes him deeply worried about the future.

have ever considered that the climate change may actually be in the right direction, at the right pace and that it is all perfectly 'natural'?
Yup, Hansen is a “Top Climate Scientist.”
By that logic, the Obamaloon is a “Top Investment Counselor.”
I know a janitor who works for NASA. He must be a “top climate scientist” too! I’m going to ask him what his feelings on “climate change” are. Hansen is a top dork.
The earth has warmed and cooled thousands of times in the past 4.3 billion years. What else is new ?

I would take exception to the title imposed up this man. He is no scientist. He is a clever manipulator of facts and raw data to suit his and his fellow travelers false claims.
