Sites acting up for me.
May want to check it.
As usual, it’s you!
I cant even post to a thread like this
It’s just you.
You are right, this thread and the responses didn’t post at all.
I’m in the peoples republica de California- so perhaps it’s the DNC freedom filters.
I noticed it’s been slow loading the comments page today.
I was wondering the same thing. Opening threads and posting have been very slow for the past few days. It really sucks!

I imagine the background chatter on the web skyrocketed the last week or two.
I can only imagine the probing attacks and technickle shenanigans that get filtered out so we can bitch and moan about ...................
Hey all you Freepers have a good night! Im goin to bed.
STOP complaining! Geez
(actually someone else was asking about the ‘slowness’ tonite and that was a response)
Maybe you’re right!
Between the connection time outs and the constant need to log back in- it may be JR’s way of sending me a message!
Try reading some of the responses.
I’m not complaining.
If no one ever gives them a heads up, how will they know if we are experiencing glitches?
It may even be a DDOS attack by the Obama free speech panthers.
connection time outs and the constant need to log back in
I smell smoke.
I haven’t noticed any problems this evening which is unusual. This site is normally slow for me but tonite, it almost seems faster.
Maybe it’s geographical...some server enroute is messed up?
In MO btw
“connection time outs and the constant need to log back in”
It was RevoltingCat who inquired about your “Glitchy” commnet.
BTW, I’m gald you posted this question...thought I might have been the only one experieincing problems.
It’s been slow for days.
I cleared cache and cookies using CCleaner.
Changed my MAC Addy on my Cable Modem and grabbed a new cable IP.
Changed my User agent and still times out.
Joking aside, I had problems posting earlier, several hours ago. No more now. I can respond to insults in kind.
Try getting a sense of humor!
You asked: “What’s Glitchy?” I simply referred you to the several posts indicating what some of the problems were.
Try not being so sensitive.
OK, fine, kool, no offense.
If I can’t hurl an insult back quickly , well then - what’s the point?
I’ve been having problems with the internet (all websites)in general for 24 hours in multiple locations and multiple ISPs. even my cell phone has been acting up.
So, of what have you been accused today? I’ve been accused of being “anti-semetic” (sic) whatever that means, and invited to visit some place named Stormfront, which the accuser must have known well, because I don’t. Can you beat that?
It’s a dream ....
go back to sleep....
Yep and no.
I have to finally press ‘refresh’ to get a post to post!!
Been having issues all day posting comments, very slow load times. That is why sometimes my comment has ended up being posted twice because I keep on clicking “post.” I thought it was just my internet connection, guess many others have had this issue too
You are obviously not logged in...:-)
This site is down more than any other I frequent, though I am here a LOT, so I guess if I were at other sites as much, they might be down more. There are days where I just about give up trying to get in here.
So just get on with your bad-ass glitchy self, glitcher!
(Oh, and the site seems kinda of fritzy tonight too.)
I’ve been slow for years
Always tends to be slow, for me anyway.
I’ve noticed it takes from 5 to 15 seconds normally to get a return after hitting a link, some have gone as long as 35-45 seconds. Have DSL from Verizon in PA, but any other site comes back within a couple of seconds at most. My connect goes through Wash., DC before heading West, and pings out at less than 1 second, so whatever is causing the slow-down is internal to the FR domain. Just have to live with it, I guess.
In my younger days, I had glitches, but a couple shots of antibiotics and I was right as rain.
Just logged back in - took 36 seconds from click to display.
Then hit the link for this post, and it took 14 seconds to display; another 12 seconds to bring up the Reply window.
Been all over the web earlier, with no noticeable slow waits like this site, but I get better news here than anywhere else so I’ll live with it. :^)
