UNDER BISHOP ROMMNEY, THE GOP IS THE PARTY OF ROMNEYCARE,
GAY MARRIAGE, WALLSTREET, SHARIA, TARP,
BACKSTABBING, MISOGNY, and VULTURE CORPORATISM.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

IS THIS THE GREATEST MOMENT IN AMERICAN CONSERVATISM?

YOU ARE THERE

THE IMPOSITION OF OBAMACARE/ROMNEYCARE
AND DEATH PANELS BY MYTH ROMNEY
AND THE FELON.

I know I will NEVER vote for Romney no matter who his VP is. I'm done with the GOP interfering with the election process, by sending out their cohorts to do the same thing the left media does. If Romney wins, I would not be surprised if Sarah or someone runs. Any idiot can see that romney cannot get the base. People who understand politics can see he will lose to obama. Third party might look good after obama reveals to all who romney is. I don't’ think that obama will listen when the RNC says you can't talk about Bain, going back and forth on abortion, gay marriage....The GOP has been hiding this from the public, but obama won't.

We didn’t get into this mess alone. The Democrats didn’t do all of it. We’ve all been responsible, through either action or inaction.

My biggest concern is that there are still plenty of Republicans who are happy pretending that a conservative federal government solution is somehow okay, but a liberal federal government solution isn’t. That somehow, our version of “big” is the answer.

Until we realize that most federal govermnet solutions are wrong, period, I agree. We’re hosed.

Sarah Palin is no one’s savior. No one person can fix things.

It will somehow take a mass awakening to the fact that until we decide that a huge government is bad, period, regardless of the goals or intent; we’re sunk.

If Sarah Palin had entered the contest, I'd hypothesize two alternative realities. One, she'd have the nomination sewn up by now. Two, she'd be running even in the polls with the president.

Never thought I would agree with the writers from CNN, but have to say I agree with these comments.

Each one of us has a price. There is not a thing wrong with that. Palin weighted her options and made the choice best suited to her needs as she saw them. That can’t and shouldn’t be faulted.

same here, . In 2008 they put Sarah on the ticket to shut us up and I guarantee that they will get someone on the ticket thinking we will fall in line again and rely on our differing views of obama.

Well not for me or my family this time, I’ve had it with the cowards in the GOP, they put out a north east liberal and then tell us we should vote for him.

Sarah and Col Allen West is the ticket to fire up the base, who can take the left on and bring FL to our side.
Just think the left could never say if we had that ticket that the right hates blacks or women due to us having a women and a great Col who has balls.

Not sure about who we should be supporting! It is more about why we are supporting who we do. It is more about who they are or what they stand for? Not sure that any of that actually is true. We have nobody that actually supports our beliefs but we will tag along with those that come close.

We are becoming (the less informed) persuaded by advertisements rather than reason these days.

I have no sympathy or empathy for the people for what's going to come if this Primary doesn't take a quick turn from Romney being the candidate. ...outside of God interferring now we're already sunk....just a matter of how fast now we go down.

Delegate math is not necessarily what AP is reporting... although they will have you believe Romney is inevitable...Santorum’s count is significantly different: according to estimates, Romney has 482 delegates to Santorum’s 331, with Gingrich at 158 and Paul at 91. Predicting what will happen on a state convention floor is difficult, but the final result is that Romney “is on a path to be short of 1,144”. Open convention and Palin 2012!!!

We were from the start, it seems. The same Republican voters in 2008 that brought us McCain, now are bringing Romney to the fore.

First off, I wouldn’t trust CNN to know its’ A-S-S, if they really, really want someone specific to run, they know that person wouldn’t have a snowballs chance in Hades.

Second, Jesus wept. Give it up about ‘Saviour’ Sarah. The woman has said NO! Mama Grizzly decided she did not want the fight.

We are in a mess, and I’d vote for Morris the Cat over Obama. The RNC decided from the beginning the candidate would be Romney, and as much as I hate it, I’ll pull the lever for him if he’s the “winner”. I’d rather loathe myself, and get Obama Lite (Romney) than have what we’ve got for 4 more years.

Last year around the time she was doing her bus tour, the polls of GOP voters showed overwhelmingly people did NOT want her to run. Now, of course, the polls seem to have turned around on that. But knowing the lefties would slam her hard, it must have been daunting for her to think about entering without having a base of conservative support clamoring for her. The big question remains why the heck was the Republican electorate so absurdly fickle during this primary?

There are several small third parties that if they would get together and draft Palin I think she would beat Obama and Romney in the general.
That would take a concerted effort on our part, our meaning the tea party and all conservatives, objecting to the eligibility of both Romney and Obama and ferreting out the Democrat voting fraud machines. Go to your voting registrar and ask for a list of all those addresses with five or more voters, then go and face to face with each voter, if no face to face possible ,file charges of false registrations.
In 1968 there was no question that each and every citizen had standing to demand proof of eligibility of a candidate.

I wonder if that is possible? The part about the tea party and all conservatives coming together. It appears that Conservatives, and this is a generalization, tend to be very dogmatic. If a candidate is not 'perfect' then he is not the one.

He can be pro-business, national defense, small-government, fiscal discipline, has a solid approval from the NRA, has a good idea on energy, etc ...but (to use an example) if he doesn't rant against gay marriage publicly (even if he is against it) he is 'wrong.' There are all sorts of permutations here ...for instance say someone is a social conservative as well as a fiscal conservative, but say he divorced his wife 3 decades ago ...he is wrong. Or say he has a working plan for the re-emergence of American business and industry, but he is Catholic/Jewish/Baptist ...wrong. Or he has a good working plan for America's continued sway over geo-politics and a strong approach towards national defense ...but he smokes cigarettes ....wrong. Or the person is the second-coming of Reagan and would bring a renaissance in America, but the candidate believes in evolution ...goodness, a section of Conservatives just wrote him off.

Anyways, those are (I admit) weak examples, but I hope they show a problem. Conservatives are too dogmatic, and are willing to throw out an entire candidate for an area that is not 'good.' For instance, look at all the other candidates (apart from Romney, Paul and Huntsman who have REAL issues): there is no way Cain, Bachmann, Santorum, Gingrich or Perry would have been acceptable to a certain segment of Conservatives that demand the 'perfect' candidate. Some of those 'imperfections' are arguable, others are straight silly.

I highly doubt there is any candidate Conservatives can come together and support. Even if Reagan came back to life I am sure some people would find a lot of faults with him that are 'unelectable.' Unfortunately moderates and liberals do not have this problem, which is why Romney will win the GOP nomination, and why Obama has a chance for re-election.

Standards are good and highly important. But dogma is not the same as standards. Reminds me of Pharisees admonishing Christ for healing a person on the Sabbath.

She never said or implied she was. She said it's WeThePeople! Haven't you been listening these past years? I never said she said or implied it.

People who say we're lost without her say it loud and clear. No one person is that important. No one. To say that there is one person who can fix things elevates that person beyond their abilities and directly implies that it isn't "We The People".

DUH! We have been saying that for YEARS! The GOP has been infiltrated with the liberal mindset and proof of that - they support Mitt! And before that....and before that......

I don't know what I said to warrant sarcasm, but it clearly isn't obvious to far too many. Every day, I see people right here on FR calling for this, that or the other government intervention.

It somehow isn't "big government" when they're dumping money on problems that are the pets of the people begging for taxpayer dollars. So "we" may have been saying it out of one corner of "our" mouth, but far, far far too many plead for government largess with the other corner. It has to stop. We have to hold each other and the government accountable. Before another politician takes another meaningless election year pledge, we should pledge to abandon support for these big government weasels, come what may.

I assure you, this is not a message that has gotten through and through. It is far from having sunk in. Take a good long look around, wherever you see conservatives having conversations. A HUGE block of people who call themselves conservatives believe that as long as the program is for a cause they support, it's A-OK.

And TRA$H any conservative who dare oppose them with the help of the media and paid entertainers.

I disagree here. We've been plenty nasty enough. It just doesn't work to turn anyone to our side. We need votes. We need minds. Not sure what to do next. An economic boycott, maybe? One by one, walking door to door in lefty GOP districts to convince voters to change their support? Not sure.

All the nastiness in the world isn't getting us anywhere. The "if it feels good, do it" vibe infects all parts of the political spectrum. It does feel good to rant. It buys us very little. Less ranting. Less relying on a "magic" politician to solve our every problem. More personal action. More holding the individual responsible.

How can we hold politicians responsible if we won't take each other to task (civilly) and hold each other responsible?
