Repine? sounds like someone planting a tree cause theys miss home. I understand completely. Fact is today I was going to plant this small piney tree I rescued from the city park. So I guess that’s repine but they’ll never miss it.
Course there is this...ahem......beverage, Old Piney Blinder made somehow with a flavor of southern yellow pine. Now that will make you repine while you recline for a long time. Not to be confugalated with terpentine.

I am in a state of repine this morning. Some idiots spray-painted profanity on the buildings at my beautiful park. I want motion-activated cameras to catch these jerks and punish them and not just have their stupid parents write a check.

Those of you outside the NYC broadcast area should repine to get FOX 5 morning News. They’re straight out live.
A couple of months ago Roseanna Scotto got the phrase ‘chicken jism’ out over the air to much hilarity.
This morning they were having Nile Rodgers on as a guest, and telling the story about how the 80’s disco hit ‘Le Freak’ got written.
The story goes, Nile was turned away from Studio 54, and went home irked..
So, they’re setting up Niles’ mic on Live air, and he says....SO I went home and started playing (cue the ‘FREAKOUT’ riff) ‘F*ck OFF!’ which was the genesis of the song...
Hilarious (one supposes at some point they’ll go to a 7 sec delay)

Hey, it’s Friday .... with alpine weather hopefully a thing of the past and brighter days ahead, there’s no need to repine or remain supine (unless resting your spine) — may I opine that everyone get out and enjoy!
Hey, are you in my head? I just tried to go back to bed and couldn’t sleep, ie supine. Then I looked out the window and the frozen tundra is STILL warm and dry. Sun is shining. I am out the door in a few minutes to enjoy it. A+++
It looks like xs has to root for the Penguins tonight. Good thing we’re not going to face the Islanders in the playoffs.
Yeah, Boston didn’t do us any favors last night losing to the Caps ... I’m just hopeful that Buffalo can at least get one point tonight to stay ahead (vs. more like “Pissedburgh” having lost 2 in a row to the lowly Islanders ;)
THAT is amazing, neither Oakmont or Fox Chapel are lowrent districts so this is low rent behavior by supposedly well=paid people. Prob not a good idea to waltz into your gf’s house and engage her hub in fisticuffs, lesson learned : )

Def rooting for the penguins. Told the pens fan in my ofc that i would likely root for the penguins if the caps don’t make the playoffs. i also told him that xsteen is dating a Flyers fan. He threatened to call Child Protective Services, LOL!
The Pens fan in my ofc is married to a Sabres fan, BTW.
