Police say three teens were arrested for shooting a raunchy video on the playground.
On any given day at Rosemont Forest Park in Virginia Beach, children are all around playing after school.
But last week, a few Salem High students found the opportunity to stage a porn shoot in broad daylight.
Police say a 15-year-old girl performed oral sex on a 16-year-old boy somewhere in the park. It was all captured by another 17-year-old boy on his cell phone.
Neighbors who live nearby wonder how this was all even possible.
Im quite disturbed because there are younger children that play in the park, and if I would want to go into the park in the evening, I wouldnt want to see whats going on, says a resident in the area.
No one caught them in the act, but police say one of the teens was overheard talking about the cell phone video at school.
It got back to Salem High's principal who then called the cops.
Filming pornography could get these teens in serious trouble for the rest of their lives if they are convicted.
They have been charged with cultivating, manufacturing and publishing pornography.
It's considered a sexually violent offense because minors were filmed.
Despite the fact that the teens who shot the video were minors and they willingly participated in taping the encounter, Virginia law would still give a judge the power to label them as sex offenders and force them onto the state's registry.
STUPID STUPID and STUPID
Well, what can you expect? You teach kids how to have every kind of sex imaginable from the moment they walk into a public school, then feign how shocked we are when they are having sex at school!
Aside from the disturbing nature of the article....I’m a little confused why they would labeled sex offenders...since all are under age and it seems consensual....being no adult forced them to committ lewd acts in public....
I would bet there are several hundred thousand teenage cell phones with sexual content as bad or worse on them.....
All ofthem are now sex offenders...??
I’m not condoning their behavior but let’s not made every horny teenager a sex offender when there are real and very dangerous sex offenders living in every neighborhood ....
You're right - you probably wouldn't.
I agree with that point about the sex offender, but these kids are sinking quite low. The feminist movement is doing wonders for these girls self-worth. I can’t imagine a 15 year old consenting to this in my day and I’m not even that old.
If they were over 21 and filming themselves engaging in sex acts during the day in a public park frequented by children, would that still be okay? What about if they were over 31? 51?
Let's not go any further in that direction, mmmkay? I'm fresh out of mind's eye wash. ;^)
Because they performed the sex in public were others could witness. Age has nothing to do with it.
My local Walmart sells it in a convenient 5-liter box for $13.97 ... white, pink, and red!
Please kindly point out where I stated it was “OK” what they did...?
The part about not condoning their behavior was in my post or is your knee jerk acting up ?
What ever happened to oral sex NOT being sex?? I thought thats what the Bent One’s “presidency” was all about.
Well in any case I sure hope they used the government supplied condoms.
My GF gets hers at WalMart at $8.97 for Crisp White. Its not bad, either.
A liter or two of that mind's eye wash and I'll be making movies in the park. lol
-——Because they performed the sex in public were others could witness. Age has nothing to do with it.-——
Point taken-——but being labeled a “sex offender “ at one time actually meant something....as in you were a deviant and needed to be watched for the protection of society
Not to be crude but if they didn’t record the act of the felletio and nobody saw them would they just be a bunch of stupid immoral horny teenagers and not sex offenders.....
Clinton legacy.
Thousands of young men have been labeled sex offenders by the courts for having consensual sex with minors who they thought were of age. It takes years and thousands of dollars to get off the registry, if they ever can, and they can’t legally use the internet, must inform every potential employer of their status and can never be alone with a juvenile. Even their own siblings.
Yup....exactly my point....
These kids were stupid and in need of some serious adult supervision especially the girl who for some reason allowed herself to have such a low opinion of herself she would do what she did
But to label these kids sex offenders is going to harm them for life for something they did when they were years away from being an adult....
Our children follow the example we as a culture set.
Ping the pro-porn contingent.
It's just another way for the Progessives to create more dependents on the state.
It’s a terrible misuse of the whole concept of “sex offender”. The sex offender registry should only be about predators, not some kids out being stupid.
The sex offender registry itself has enough problems. There is something wrong when dangerous predators have to be released from custody... And everybody knows they’re still dangerous but the law has no mechanism to cope with them. People known to still be dangerous shouldn’t be let out into the world. We just don’t yet know how to deal with them. They can’t be fixed. But we can’t make sex offenses capital crimes either— because if we did then there’s no reason for them to ever leave another victim alive.
I don’t know the answer.
And it will be on the internet forever! 10 - 20 years down the road ... “Mom, I saw one of your movies at school today. One of the boys was showing it around.”
Sure, they'll do it ~ for the attention, attentiveness, social status (in some subgroups), and maybe for money ~ but sex for the sole purpose of sex?
Talk to them someday.
Now about Virginia's laws, they all end up as sex offenders. They can, of course, move somewhere else.
The problem in this case, and your story, is the key element is an underage girl (15) wanting to have sex ~
Is that something new?
Seem's easy enough to me.
Not likely in today’s courts. If caught urinating in public, they will still have to register as a sex offender.
Just the way things are.
The point here is that registries of sexual offenders is new.
What sort of 15 year old girl is hanging around with a 21+ guy trying to convince him she's of legal age?
I'll tell you what kind.
It's a girl who has been given no supervision, no training, and no sense of self-worth by her parents.
PUBLIC REGISTRIES are new.
He was 18. What difference does it make what kind of girl she was? Do you imagine a Utopia where there are no girls like that? The point is his whole life has been ruined by the state.
The big point here is that Virginia law changed with the times even if idiocy didn't.
No kidding. That’s what I said.
PUBLIC ~ cops always had their lists ~ this stuff about minors used to be kept “confidential” which meant nobody outside the law enforcement organizations would know. Now the lists get published. Probably one reason for laws to establish who gets listed for what and how that is distributed.
I don’t have any idea what your point is. Sex offender registries are new. That has nothing to do with any “secret” lists you imagine the police used to keep.
You make a great point! Every part of society will soon be catagorized into little segments being dealt with by some nameless gov. flunky who has decided they don’t fit into his little square box of acceptable morality.
The dems are doing it now and blaming the spineless gop.
There are a number of these characters around and that's part of the purpose for PUBLIC lists.
A police record on an underage rapist is one thing. A list of guys who had underage girlfriends is another thing. I doubt the cops ever kept a list of them.
I doubt other large cities were different.
Minneapolis became well known for its teenybopper runaways. The cops wanted to know the perps and the victims~so you know they had their lists based on arrests, investigations and prosecutions.
They simply didn't make that information public.
WVKayaker has the winning post!
“Not to be crude but if they didnt record the act of the felletio and nobody saw them would they just be a bunch of stupid immoral horny teenagers and not sex offenders.....”
Actually, they would not be providing make-work for a slew (slough?) of government employees.
Trough feeders have to eat too - or must they?
“...what “Is” is...They did NOT have sexual relations... according to the expert legal analysis and statement of a former law professor!”
Well, you just KNEW that this day was coming, back in the late 1990’s. I certainly did.
I’m wondering...has anyone successfully used that as a defense?
“A police record on an underage rapist is one thing. A list of guys who had underage girlfriends is another thing. I doubt the cops ever kept a list of them.”
So - you actually believe the cops don’t have an unofficial list of local sluts and whores available to the BoyzNBlu?
Who said anything about runaways?
You said they shouldn’t be considered sex offenders because of their age. I was wondering if the same behavior would become an “offense” if they were older, or if you just didn’t think public oral sex in the daytime near children’s playgrounds was an offense, at all.
I said a list of guys...
“I said a list of guys...”
You implyin’ those cops are queer?
;-)
Amazingly anywhere you have a serial killer loose and he starts murdering prostitutes the police always seem to know all about those girls aforehand!
