OK, I'll Vote For Romney, But... (Yes, this is a Vanity)
March 5th 2012 | Mad Dawgg

Posted on 04/05/2012 12:24:03 PM PDT by Mad Dawgg

OK, I've thought about it. I've read over and over here on Free Republic that if I don't vote for Romney. I am by default voting for Obama.

Now some of you are reading this and saying, wait-a-minute, Romney hasn't clinched it yet. Well its time to face facts, he is gonna be the G.O.P. nominee. The fat lady hasn't sung yet for the other Republican hopefuls Santorum and Gingrich. But if you listen closely you can hear her just off-stage doing some warmup scales.

So I guess if I must vote for Romney or forever be condemned as a FReeper who helped Obama to a second term. But I must tell ya, it feels like I am selling out. So since it feels that way I might as well go all-in.

That is why I have decided to run for office locally. Which means I need campaign cash. So all of you folks here on FR who are of the mind that a vote for anyone but Romney (when he becomes the G.O.P. nominee) is a vote for Obama think of me as a member of Congress and you are lobbying for my vote. And since we all know how lobbying works I will setup a campaign fund where you can deposit funds to help with my campaign and I will see what I can do about your concerns over who I am voting for in 2012.

Bottom line selling-out has become the American Way and since all you Vote-Romney-or-you-vote-for-Obama people condone such activity I asking you to put YOUR money where my vote is.

We can use this thread as a pledge drive. You post and pledge the amount you wish to deposit in my campaign fund and a "suggestion" of who I should vote for or for those of you who are against selling-out I am willing to listen to your reasoning as well.

It’s not too late for RomBama to drop out and save us all from another impeachment.

Everyone one of our funding fathers came from a history in the private business sector -

None were born and bred from a legacy of sucking on the government tit as the current occupant and look at the total different view of government it produces.

Having worked for Newt to get his congress elected in the republican turnover and the great disappointment he gave me of how he ran the place I would rather vote for Romney then continue to allow the current CEO of the executive branch and the czars he has placed into office run in any longer in any leadership role.

My only question to Romney if anyone has access to him is how many UN-Constitutional czars will he retain if elected or will he go back to the Constitution Board of advisers for the running of his executive branch?

There is a guy on the ballot named ABO. I’m voting for that guy! Hey, I would even vote for you, Shirley Temple, (Yes I am that old) Larry, Moe, or Curly Joe, ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!

I'll vote for whomever has a credible chance of preventing Romney from becoming president. If my choices are a socialist who hates working, and a socialist who loves working? I'm going to go with the one who hates working.

What Romney brings to the table is ‘bipartisanship’, AKA cover to pass even more debt, inflated budgets and eroding of social values. If the Republican house wants to do that, they can do it working with Obama.

There is absolutely no way I'll vote for Romney, and consider him ten times as dangerous to this nation as Obama.

I’m dreaming of a brokered convention... and while I’m at it I might as well dream they select Sarah Palin and Allen West.

I couldn’t care less about Mitt Romney. But I couldn’t care more about my country, and Obama must be defeated.

We may still lose on Obamacare in SCOTUS, but can you imagine how ugly it will be when 5 or 6 Kagans or Sotomayors are up there praising Obamacare and we are truly lost for the next 30 years?

Vote your conscience. I, for one, am not likely to vote for RINOny. Not ruling it out, but I don’t expect it to happen, particularly after he shakes his Etch-a-Sketch some time in September. My opinion is the GOPe needs to be shaken up bigtime... and that isn’t going to happen unless Romney does poorly. I’d like to see Jindal in there in 2016. A true conservative with a brain and results who isn’t afraid to take on the GOPe (he the only one with national name recognition that didn’t endorse Myth). If Bobby gets on the ticket, I’ll give Myth another look, but I don’t see that happening.

The intelligent alternative is for the national convention to throw out these results and put up a nominee who represents the values of the voters, who represents an alternative to Obama. The intelligent alternative is to boot out all these moronic RINOS who are corrupting every state party because our ‘tradition’ is to place the nominee’s people in those places, and after holding our nose for McCain, that’s who’s there to give us their newest generation of RINO.

The least intelligent alternative is to rubberstamp a bad decision. I will NOT give Congress cover to push forward with more big government.

I may vote for Romney but I don’t believe that he’ll win anyway. That’s my problem with ABO -— it does matter who that ‘anybody’ is that is facing Obama because Romney is simply just a bad candidate regardless whether or not he is conservative enough. He has virtually all of the attributes of the recent past Presidentials losers

Mark 8:36

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

(What good does it do Conservatives to gain the White House if we have to sacrifice almost all our values to gain it?

I want to beat Obama as badly as any Conservative...But I still don’t know if I can stomach voting for Romney!

Yes. I’ll vote for him because there is no other option.

After Obama is defeated, God willing, then it will be time to flush the worthless, useless, good for nothing, crumb feeding GOP down the toilet where they belong.

With Obama as POTUS and a Republican controlled Senate, every liberal nominee to the SCOTUS will be fought over.

With Romney as POTUS and a Republican controlled Senate, every liberal nominee to the SCOTUS will be passed immediately.

Which scenario is worse?
