You say someone has to wake up the roosters? The roosters in my neck of the woods seem to be insomniacs. They crow throughout the night...every night.
It makes me think of FDR’s promise of a chicken in every pot...oh that these noisy birds would meet such a fate!

Hey, keep it up and we’ll be close together. I get off duty at 0300 ( make any nighttime hours I please) 0400, 0500 and me and the cats FREEP until the sun comes up and I can do yard work. After chores, I go to sleep. Those dark hours see a lot beer.

I’ve pretty much seen it all and gotten pretty good at pulling them out of the fire.

Watch out for him licking at his sides, especially his left side, any ‘drum noise’ if you thump on his belly and weird body positions such as front end down/back end up or inability to lay down comfortably, pacing, restlessness, and most importantly, unproductive vomiting/wretching or the cessation of the ‘runs’ with -nothing- coming out.

I mfg. and sell tubular steel barstools and chairs,usually i outsource the assembly work to my friends metal fab business which leaves me to much free time for things like naps when i feel like it which in turn screws up my normal sleeping patterns,oh the price i pay.:)

Sorry, I went to bed so this isn’t very timely. Pumpkin is high in fiber and tends to help clear up diarrhea in dogs. I have a nervous dog. I can count on diarrhea after anything that upsets him, and one of those things is UPS or FedEx coming to the door. He’s gotten better over the years thankfully.
