Easter is still a great day for worship, candy in baskets, pagan equinox rituals and running around the yard finding eggs, but every year it gets quite a bit worse for bunnies. And no, not because the kids like to pull their ears. The culprit is climate change, and the folks at Climate Nexus found that rising temperatures are having adverse effects on at least five species of rabbit in the U.S.

They seem to be doing okay in my housing development. Have to dodge them every morning on my way out of the neighborhood.
It is amazing how they always come up with a well timed theme on these stories, isn’t it?
We see rabbits just like that outside of our office, which is in an industrial park right next to the airport!
Too bad the scientists aren’t aware of what happened. The rabbits that took t the water during Jimmy Carter’s term as destroyer chief evolved into what is known as the snakehead fish.
