Brings tears to my eyes. Could be me in some few years, you just don’t know.
NOT a prayer ping! :)
I thought, as I was grinning ear to ear watching this gentleman come “to life”...that you’d all enjoy this as much as I did.
Thanks beaversmom. You come up with the NEATEST threads!!
Amazing!
Ah thanks BG. That was a link on a friend’s FB page. So nice to live in this internet/social media age where we can share interesting stories.
That was touching, he sure perked up after listening to the music. I have a feeling a lot of his apparent lethargy is because he is simply bored and the music put a stop to that.
I can’t watch it my computer is too slow. What’s he listening to, Madonna?
I hear ya. We never know how things are going to end up.
Dude.
He’s in a nursing home. Old. Madonna. Sheesh.
lol
I have a friend whose daughter works in the same nursing home my dad was in. I TOTALLY agree with what you said and am forwarding this to her, too.
It's so sad to see...some of those folk just sit there. Out of it. If they're "there", they are just waiting to die. Sad, sad, sad..
Wow! Great stuff.
I’m sending the link to my kids. I ain’t getting any younger.

Elderly people, who have forgotten so many things, seem to remember all the words to old songs, and it makes them so happy.
Maybe I’ll try to jog my memory, when I forget something, by singing. :)
Who are you again? Your name looks familiar...
:)
lol
Try singing, and maybe, we’ll remember. :)
My daughter was thinking about studying Music Therapy, but didn't like the pay, especially because you have to have a Masters degree. But you don't need an MS to turn on an iPod!
It’s always nice to hear music that doesn’t sound like someone having a difficult bowel movement.
This was incredibly touching and amazing. I hope they allow that gentleman to listen to music all the time. It brings him back to life in a sense. He just brightens up. I wish I had known this when my Grandma had Alzheimers, although she wasn’t quite as bad in that she didn’t forget our names (a stroke ultimately killed her), but I think she would have really enjoyed it.
What an amazing man. I do have to learn to stop reading the comments though.
